Duke is still gonna win this by double digits but I feel like the blueprint to beat them has been set. Slow the game down and make them beat you from 3. If you run with them Barrett and Zion will kill you. But if you limit transition attempts their offense really struggles, especially from deep.
Zone works against them if you can disrupt passing the ball inside to Zion. If he catches it around the free throw line or deeper in he either gets a basket or draws a foul.

Yup. If you have a big shot blocker at the back of the zone to prevent lobs it would really help too.

duke asleep at the wheel for first 25 minutes, then blows the doors off an overmatched opponent for 8 minutes, then cruises down the stretch. it has become a trademark for them and it is gonna get them beat come march/april if they aren't careful. will say they have shown that they are usually up for the big time opponents.
still think, if duke doesn't win it all, that it is going to be duke's own hubris and nonchalant attitude that is going to be their downfall. when they are rolling they are in another stratosphere. when they are just going through the motions they are fairly average. i am sure the coaching staff has tried to preach this to them, but such is life with a highly talented group of 18/19 year olds.

Wish that would have worked out for us. Duke won the 3 point lottery in Tallahassee. Not even talking about the last 3, just all game long there were contested deep shots that Reddish and Barrett were hitting.

my mother keeps calling cam reddish, redick. i keep telling her it's not 2004 and that the real redick never went that cold. for real though the difference between dog shit reddish and #1 pick reddish is nothing other than attitude. reddish is probably the most supremely talented NBA athlete in college ball...including zion.
How many missed layups and turnovers? He runs WAY too hot and cold. Just be ok and I'd be happy as hell.

you are prolly right. reddish plays like a college frosh in an NBA talented body. zion and rj play like NBA players in NBA talented bodies. the difference is in their own supreme confidence in their games. some dudes just come along slower, but i'm convinced reddish's issues are between the ears.

Real talk, I think Zion getting hurt was the worst thing that happened to FSU. Obviously I’m not saying Zion sucks—he’s incredible. But unlike most teams, we’ve got guys like Kabengele who can slow him down.
When Zion went out it flipped a switch for Reddish and he became unstoppable. If dog sh*t reddish played against FSU the Noles won by 7+.
