NCAA Testing New Rule

During the NIT tournament this year, they'll reset the foul/free throw bonus count at the 10 minute mark of both halves. 5 fouls puts you in double bonus, with no one and one.

They'll also continue using the following rule changes from 2018:

• The 3-point line will be extended to the same distance used by FIBA.
• The free throw lane will be widened to the width used by the NBA.
• The shot clock will reset to 20 seconds after an offensive rebound instead of the full 30 seconds.

Agreed. I’ll have to see how this one plays out.

I do love the extended 3 point and lane though. Sorely needed in today’s game with bigger players and better shooters.
