In a decision that can only be described as pathetic and abhorrent, the NCAA has ruled FSU’s Baba Miller is ineligible for the first 16 games of the season. That includes Purdue, UF, St. John’s, UVA, UL, Duke, and UCF.

His crime? Before he was an NCAA recruit he had his transportation to a basketball training camp paid for. After finding out that could violate the rules of an organization he’s not familiar with at all (he’s from Spain), his family paid back the benefit received in full.

So in the world of NIL, FIBA U19 tournaments, and shoe companies, this kid who came to America to better himself and his skills is not allowed to play in half the season.

The NCAA can go eff itself.

NCAA is a joke and this is just further proof.

Donda Academy was a fake school that just closed. Those players will probably clear without incident.

This decision seems really wrong, especially when you consider the current landscape.

Seems like the NCAA would be walking on egg shells with decisions like this right now considering they’re hanging on by a thread. Yet, here we are.
