Just heard a stat that shocked me.......FVV was a -10 last night. That's more an indictment on the stat than FVV.

wow....so hard to know. I still think GS offers max to both Klay and KD and would think Klay takes it. Not sure about KD as he'll get other max offers IMO.

I have a hard time seeing GS offering the max to Klay initially, but I could be wrong. I definitely think they do to KD, and I think he would've left. Now? Who knows if these guys want to stay together to finish what might have been. Gonna be a fun offseason.

I think they give Klay the max, you have to keep the splash bros together going into the new arena. Especially if Durant leaves, then they have to keep Klay.

Steph is garbage on D. Everyone he tries to guard looks like a NBA all star with him on them. Delly a few years ago FVV this year. Hell im 5'7" and can't shoot a ball into the ocean and could probably go for a double/ double against the dude. He's highly overrated. Hits crazy shots but is nonexistent on the other end of the court.

Yeah....Delly was tremendous. Steph only hit 40% on his 3s and averaged 26 ppg in that series against Delly. Really shut him down, didn't he?

@Nole in Toronto sorry im late to this but HOLY FKN SHIT you guys did it. I thought for sure it was going 7 and its a toss up at that point.

I was totally wrong with 3 of the 6 played....and im an NBA insider with probably the most knowledge on this board imo. Anything can happen this series showed....pretty cool.

    Three things..........

    1. Kawhi has now cemented his legacy in Toronto, 1 year in and this mfkr will never have to pay for a beer or dinner in that city ever again, sweet.

    2. If he bounces in free agency Toronto BETTER NOT flame him in any way, dude walked into a situation that deep down he prolly didn't want to be but made the most of it in a BIG WAY. Soft spoken guy who lets his play talk on the court....straight up dude.

    3. Klay Aiken or Klay Thompson or whatever......karma is a bitch. Dude is a scumbag who ran his mouth for the past 5 years and things always come back at you, that dumbass just found out. Toronto fans cheering when KD went down happens in every city this is Pro sports not college, in college its frowned upon...in Pro sports it gives you an advantage and happens in EVERY PRO TOWN. When Klay went down im not gonna lie.......I took a drink of my Muscle Milk 30 gram protein shake during my workout(no alcohol anymore for me) and smiled, 5 years of garbage from this punk and he got paid back.

YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE PARADE!!!!!!!

I went to mine in 2016 and it changed my life, take your kids because it might not happen again in their lifetime or yours.

Btw, went on a 7 mile walk today and am down to 188.....took me almost 2.5 hours. Watcha weigh in at this morning...300 after all that beer from celebrating haha.

    Hell yeah bud!

I went downtown last night and raged tf out, it was amazing. I’m abso****nlutely going to the parade on Monday and it’s gonna be wild.

This is a college football board so not a lot of people get the passion that we have for our home town pro sports teams, so this has been one of the greatest moments of my life.

Whether Kawhi stays or goes, he’s a got damn legend and he’ll get a statue no matter what he decides. If he leaves it won’t be a basketball decision but a life decision since Toronto can offer him the most on a professional level.

My nerves have prevented me from eating the last few days, I weighed in at 185 this morning, my lowest yet.

I’ve got to officially eat my crow.

I was very vocal at throwing stones and laughing at Toronto for pulling the trigger on what looked like a one year situation with a disgruntled player.

All along you said that if that one year resulted in a Finals trip or championship it was worth it. I openly laughed at that idea and I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Raptors have a title and now I think it’s a 50/50 shot that he stays. In the end you were right and I was wrong. This post means little to you right now as you revel in your championship but thanks for letting me check myself and own my bullshit.

Have a great time with the rest of Canada on Monday.

Im a real "destiny/fate" type of guy, I made a thread about it months ago.

If you watched this series it seemed like the Raptors had everything line up perfectly for them, almost gift wrapped. The demise of the Warriors is here, they are done.

They said Klay tore a ligament but didn't say which one, I heard today its his ACL. You have 4 in your knee(lcl, pcl, acl, mcl) if you are gonna rip one you want it to be the MCL because thats the one that doesn't usually require surgery(trust me I tore mine playing basketball 6 years ago).

Klay done, Durant out a year maybe even leaving in free agency and this dynasty is over. Age catching up too with them. Great run but this shit is finally over.

Great win again for Raptors its still surreal, go to that fkn parade and enjoy it, might not see another so fully appreciate it.

In 2016 I went to our parade and when I came home I put my sneakers in the closet, they still have the confetti on the bottom of them. I promised myself I will never wear them again until the next title parade in any sport. Everytime I open my closet I look down and see them and smile, hell ya.

Houston is close, there problem is their depth and diversity of play inside. People don't talk much about it, but that Toronto team was LOADED af the forward position. Kawhi at the 3, a future perennial all star in Siakam with his crazy athleticism and ability to post you up and shoot the 3... Gasol is a world class screaner, a quality rebounder and shot blocker, and he too can step out and hit the 3... He's still one of the best passing big men in the league as well... Then you bring Ibaka off the bench. He can play either the 4 or the 5. He's a world class rim protector and he can score 20 on you off the bench. Like Siakam, Kawhi, Gasol, he can step out and drill the 3 on you...

When Houston diversifies inside, hits on a kid like Siakam and makes a move for a guy like Gasol, they'll win it all.

There are two full planes (we're talking about Airbus 320's) booked full of people heading from Regina to Toronto for the parade... People missing a couple days of work and paying $800 for a round trip ticket, just to go to a parade 2700 KM away.... Similar things are happening in other provinces as well.

    Could exceed 2 million!

Lets just hope Toronto fans come out and support their team unlike some others we seen lately.....

Eagles fans outraged over parade crowd estimate of 700K
    [IMG]

    |OF THE MORNING CALL|
    FEB 09, 2018|7:20 PM

Eagles fans felt like winners when their team won the Super Bowl Sunday, but many were miffed after a published report that they didn’t quite win the trophy for highest parade attendance when their team returned home Thursday for their heroes’ welcome.

An England-based team of crowd safety experts, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, estimated close to 700,000 people attended the parade where Eagles players, coaches and team officials cruised slowly from Broad and Pattison streets, near Lincoln Financial Field, to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Fans packed tightly into Center City, perching in trees and jumping so much at one point they made the ground shake.

The estimates were less than some anticipated after Philadelphia officials braced for 2 million, according to the Inquirer.

I've genuinely never seen so many people... The parade can't even move because the people. It's getting stalled at every turn lol.
