That's a very specific request. Tell me the last time a guy had 3 hits in a game and with 2 strike outs on a Tuesday.

Darvish had 11 K's and 0 BB's last week for the Cubs. Best I can do off the top of my head.

Star. We've talked about this. You have to read the entire post or things will continue to be confusing for you.

I will accept your apology, Beiber is in rare air after today.

Give him his props he deserves it. 15ks with no walks is just as special as a perfect gane imho.

Sounds awful familiar, doesn't it. Reminds me an awful lot of 2018.

So you’re banking on a complete collapse from the Phillies again. Not a bad goal to have. When you root for a dog shit franchise that doesn’t care about winning and won’t invest in the team I guess that’s the pathway to success you have to pull for.

And by the way since my post yesterday during this recent hot streak by the Braves they’ve only made up 1 game in the standings.

    Patience.

Gabe Kapler cannot pilot a winning ship.

Haha! It’s baseball. Tito Francona has a ring as a manager. But I will use some patience for when June 1st rolls around and the Phils potentially acquire Kimbrel or Keuchel to improve their team.

Big extra inning win for the Phils. Couldn’t believe the number on the games Cubs bull pen have blown this early in the season.

Yeah it's been pretty fun. It's particularly frustrating given how well the starting staff has been pitching.

All we needed was one pitch tonight to win the game and they can't do it. Shame. Getting Morrow and Strop back will help, but eck. I'm open to just throwing money Kimbrels way.

June 1st is that magical day when signing a FA no longer costs you a compensatory draft pick. I expect Kimbrel and Keuchel to be signed soon after.

Just looked at the schedule and 26 out of the final 38 Twins games are against Kansas City, ChiSox or Detroit. Laughing

Great standing ovation for Jake Arrieta. I got goose bumps when he tipped his cap. Funny it came in a game Darvish was pitching who ultimately ended up with the contract he wanted.

He's a strange player. Hed have moments of being an absolute beast as a Cub but would also have so many WTf moments. I wish hed gotten the ring after being the lone bright spot in the bad years. But one of his wtf moments might have cost us.

He has no interest in being part of the Marlins rebuild so he is a shitty player to have in the locker room, and he is leading the team in errors this year while only batting like .220. Just dropped what would have been a game winning double play tonight. Literally hit his glove and fell out. Tigers tied it up two batters later.

Keyshaw goes to 4 - 0, as the Dodgers blast the Rays 7 - 3.

Good game Cubbies. Paid the Phils back after last night. Two very entertaining baseball games. Love the energy a Wrigley crowd brings. Lester and Hamels. Hope the Phils can steal one but that’s a tough ask.

Been of a hell of a series so far. Our bullpen is going to continue to make me lose sleep.

Reds win! 3-0 shutout @ Milwaukee. MIL and NYY were the only 2 teams left in MLB who hadnt been shutout. Meanwhile, CIN leads MLB in shutouts with 7.

TONIGHT, y'all had better tune in. MLB #2 ERA Castillo takes the mound for the Reds v #3 ERA Davies for the Brewers. Should be an epic battle!

Nah. Ebb and flow with a 162 game schedule. Phils have 4 with one of the best teams in the NL and the Braves have San Francisco dog shit. Phils are already ahead of last season. Last season they played like .400 baseball vs the NL East. This year they’re much better.
