If they get 2 more 5* including Precious then yeah the jury will be out, but right now without Hampton and Precious they still have a pretty bleak roster
Wiseman and DJ I get, but these other guys apparently going to Memphis is a head scratcher.
I want Hampton badly, and it seems Bill does too. Unfortunately negative recruiting might cost them every top recruit they’re pursuing.
Best hope for next year might be to get De Sousa and Udoka back. Which is actually starting to seem realistic. If Udoka were declaring, I’d have thought he would have by today.
That many 5 stars going to a mid major will definitely turn the ncaa’s head

The NCAA is going to be so mad at Memphis they are going to give UL 2 more years of probation.
Yeah...so far he’s just nabbed a bunch of locals. Some of which aren’t that highly rated. We’ll see what happens with Precious and Hampton.
The NCAA aint protecting Memphis so they'd most likely hammer memphis and give UL more post season bans just for good measure LOL
They were never that attractive to recruits even with Cal..... They would get 1 top 10 recruit in a given year but never multiple top guys.....
They have one top 10 (who is from Memphis) and won’t be getting another unless Hampton reclassifies.
But we were talking about if Memphis also got RJ Hampton and Green to reclassify and go to Memphis... along with possibly getting T. Watford or Achuiwa..
Of course at one time they looked to be the front runner for Hurt too ...so they might not get any of those 4 mentioned.....

The appeal was submitted a few days ago and your “friend” already knows the outcome. Very interesting.
My theory is this: Your friend is a parrot and you only type what he tells you. His vocabulary consists of “Kansas in deep trouble with NCAA” and “De Sousa not eligible.”
Maybe a few others I can’t remember, but that about covers it.

I think Watford is clearly better than Precious and it sounds like they are losing traction for watford. Maybe they get a surprise like hampton for 2019 but as of now I'd say shooting will be a significant issue for them. (Also I think Wiseman is way overhyped)
