Make a case for Duke not being #1 for the rest of the Season.

The schedule is cake so they should move to #1 in the next couple of weeks and stay there while SEC teams beat the shit out of each other.

But as for the #1 overall seed, there are some possible pitfalls:
  • They do roll with 3 freshmen and frosh can be up and down
  • Proctor is playing the best of his career but as we've seen with that dude, an implosion could occur
  • They are below average at using the bench. An injury to a key player could be an issue
  • Flagg's diarrhea could make the Cameron floor slippery and cause him or his teammates to get hurt

You are aware why he's call Pooper Flagg?

Duke is inevitably going to be #1 this year, and will probably stay there the majority of the remainder of the season.

Auburn, Iowa St, Bama, UT, UF, UK, Marquette, all of which would probably be the only other teams to have the potential to make a case later on down the road depending on potential big wins, are all going to take losses, and multiple losses at that. Just the nature of the conferences they play in, especially the SEC this year.

Duke plays NOBODY in the ACC, and a defacto home game at MSG against Illinois.

The better question to ask, in my opinion, is does Duke deserve a one seed?
