We're the same team as last year. Mack can't get any guards to play for us when it is clear that we are in desperate need. Looks like somehow we will strike out again at the guard position for the 2020 class.

The only difference between this years team and last years team is the date on the calendar. We have no true reliable guard and there's no consistency from anyone on the team.

I concur. And it wasn’t just one guy getting hot, although the Walker kid easily looked like the best player on the court for either team, seemingly everyone was stroking it from deep.

FSU guards also did an great job of exciting their half court game plan which was get the ball to whoever fresh or McMahon was guarding and go right at them. I was very surprised at how good FSU is after all they lost last season.

UL is an experienced team who looked good early because of that experience imo. The fact is they lost 13 or 14 games last year and their guard play has always been suspect so I never bought into the whole “best team in the country” stuff. That being said, college basketball is so average this year they can certainly be a factor in the tournament if somebody (David Johnson?) can solidify the PG spot.
