In UF’s last two games, the gators made 14 fewer FGs than their opponents, 7 fewer rebounds, 7 fewer assists (with a worse assist/turnover ratio), and were out-shot 49% to 40%. Despite these lopsided numbers, UF went 2-0 in these games thanks to 31 more FT attempts. Curiously, UF was the team that settled more for outside jump shots, taking 54 three pointers (23 more than their opponents).
