Exactly. Last night was Auburns first ever road victory over a top 5 team OOC
Not a true road win though, technically a neutral site, so your streak is still alive! Played in Houston, but not at Houston's home arena (and the attendance was less than their home opener against Jackson State.) 😂

Was it really? That's pretty surprising. Congrats though.
Yeah we have SEC

bro. The game was played in a Houston

I didn’t think anyone could out tough Houston, that team is extremely physical and plays every possession with their hair on fire, but Auburn beat Houston at their own game.

Hell of an impressive win by Auburn. Great win.
Never seen Houston look so worn out. Aubie played with some impressive energy for sure!

Grats to the Tigres.

Doubt any computer metrics can be close to accurate for the first 8-10 games though. Too much roster turnover across the entirety of CBB now.

It'll take an incredibly deep roster to play a physical game for 40 minutes with Auburn. Those dudes will wear you down if you can only go 7 or 8 deep.

Hope we keep it up. Our OOC schedule is brutal

It's going to take a high octane offense to beat Auburn. You have to score to get some seperation.

Houston is known for their defense and physicality, they don't spread the court very well, so a team like Auburn can sink their teeth in and choke them out.

It’ll be interesting to see how Au does against Bama, or someone like a Gonzaga.

having more fans at an opposibg teams arena or stadium means its not a home game? I guess vandy gsmes road games are not true rosd games now

If there were more Auburn fans in attendance, why’s it matter if it were played close to Houston’s campus?

I can say that playing KU in KC is nothing like playing in Allen Fieldhouse, even when the arena’s dominated by KU fans.

We beat bama by 23 points the last time we played last year. I expect us to split with them again this year

How you feeling about Pope and Kentucky? Game is at Rupp this year. I know you think Auburn is cursed there.
Until I see otherwise I dont expect to win in Rupp. Although I do think this is the best overall team Pearl has had At Auburn. Lots of seniors and experience

There's a decent chance this is Pearl's best team ever.
We will go as far as Pegues and Pettiford takes us. Pegues struggled against Houston and a bit in our first game against Vermont. . Bruce said before the season pettiford wasnt going to play a lot of point as a true freshmen but then he basically benched Pegues the last 8 minutes of game against Houston for Pettiford who then went off. Pegues has had some issues adjusting from moving up from Furman so far.

If they're going to have a deep run in March, forget Pegues. He can still play a little bit off the bench. Pettiford is the one that should have the keys to the corvette.
