I live 5 minutes away from Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort. Not sure how it compares to other Indian Casinos, to be honest. But it's fairly upscale. It's about 3 hours from Charlotte & Atlanta, 4.5 hours from Nashville, and 5 hours from Raleigh.
If we made the destination something like Asheville, Charleston or Nashville I may come out for a night of drinking as a part of weekend trip to the area.
