Most of those turnovers were unforced, and 8 missed free throws. Good thing we’re shooting 75% from the field and KSU is missing a lot of shots.Should be up 25. Hope it isn’t costly.
Shooting cooled off this half..
yupThe bad turnovers are what are continuing to hurt the most though.
Need to put Dok back in. Not like he can play in the last 5 minutes of the game anyway.
Yes he is. If Graham can get out of his funk, we could put it all together at the right time.Malik is really doing things lately.
They are what they are. A solid team that plays fundamental defense and plays with good effort. They are inconsistent offensively but do have some scorers and can beat you if they’re on. They played very well in Lawrence and could have won that game if not for some bad coaching at the end. But they have a lower ceiling than some teams, so they can lose to about anybody if they don’t bring their best effort....KSU kind of sucks. No offense to Kansas, who I think is a very good team and quite dangerous now that Newman is playing well. KSU looks pretty awful though. Maybe they are just cold though.
He’s gassed. Self needs to find a way to get him some rest.Svi has been our best player. Malik coming on down the stretch. Graham playing like a freshman 3-4 games now.
Even when he isn’t he has been making terrible decisions. Self does need to get him more breaks....esp after he jacks terrible shots. Malik can bring the ball up.He’s gassed. Self needs to find a way to get him some rest.
Thanks. I think you guys are too. But KU played well(minus the turnovers) and I think you guys played a little tight. It happens.Good game Hawks. I thought we were better than this.
Love that we are finding ways to win without Devonte shooting the ball well. Svi is playing so confidentially and Malik is really coming into his own and starting to figure out that he just has to play within the system. We have vastly improved over the last month but still think we can get so much better. Not a lot of room for error with this group though, just so thin in some areas.
