KU up 13 after committing 12 first half turnovers and 6-13 from line. This game should be just about over. They're letting KSU hang on by a thread.

Should be up 25. Hope it isn’t costly.

Unforced turnovers and lazy defense way too early in the 2nd half for KU. Bad combo especially when KU's not hitting the broad side of the barn.

Letting KSU stay within arms length in first half is biting them in the ass.

Holy hell they’ve gone ice cold. This is crazy.

If two refs can’t agree who the ball went off of, why not just review? By not reviewing there, you either cost KU a possession, or you cost KSU the possession arrow. Not a fan of that rule.

KSU kind of sucks. No offense to Kansas, who I think is a very good team and quite dangerous now that Newman is playing well. KSU looks pretty awful though. Maybe they are just cold though.

Svi has been our best player. Malik coming on down the stretch. Graham playing like a freshman 3-4 games now.

They are what they are. A solid team that plays fundamental defense and plays with good effort. They are inconsistent offensively but do have some scorers and can beat you if they’re on. They played very well in Lawrence and could have won that game if not for some bad coaching at the end. But they have a lower ceiling than some teams, so they can lose to about anybody if they don’t bring their best effort....

He’s gassed. Self needs to find a way to get him some rest.
Even when he isn’t he has been making terrible decisions. Self does need to get him more breaks....esp after he jacks terrible shots. Malik can bring the ball up.

Joe KU fan doubted this team's ability to improve defensively. And proclaimed Newman worthless. Joe KU fan was wrong once again.

Love that we are finding ways to win without Devonte shooting the ball well. Svi is playing so confidentially and Malik is really coming into his own and starting to figure out that he just has to play within the system. We have vastly improved over the last month but still think we can get so much better. Not a lot of room for error with this group though, just so thin in some areas.

No matter how much we improve though, we're still going to be susceptible to depth issues just like last year. It got us in the Oregon game when Jackson picked up two early fouls, which changed our defensive dynamic for the rest of the first half. Notice our defensive performance in that game from the 1st half to the 2nd half....it was night and day. All because Jackson picked up two early dumb fouls and couldn't do some of the things he usually does, for risk of fouling out.

This year it's Dok. The difference between when he's in the game and when he isn't, is night and day. We've seen 15 point swings in games sometimes when he sits on the bench. If he picks up two early fouls in the tourney, it could become difficult for us to win. I like the progress of Lightfoot, but he is still going to be at a disadvantage when we play somebody with more size....which will inevitably happen in the tourney. Gotta get DeSousa some minutes.
