KU came out so limp. Nice recovery to get hard though. Now to stay hard and finish.
Graham has been awful tonight. They have to start giving him three minutes a half on the bench to rest.
Graham is making layups so much harder than they really are. The guy is trying to do too much at one time.
It's amazing what happens when you dribble to the basket with a purpose and move the ball from side to side. Options tend to open up and they have.
Or more. Every announcer slobs him even when he is terrible. Tonight he was flat out bad
Teams are focusing on stopping Svi and not letting him get a look. We need to start running some stuff to get him some good looks because he’s getting frustrated and it’s affecting all other aspects of his game.
im not sure why they didn't get Doke 30 shot attempts that game. Young and Lard definetely couldn't gaurd him and he was hitting on 90% of the shots he did take. I would have thrown it down to him every play until they started to double team.
Newman is a different player when he wants to be. He needs to stay in attack mode the rest of the year, if we want any chance of having a successful post season.
Agree. Newman can get to the basket whenever he wants when he wants. I'd love to see him in attack mode for a majority of the game and not just when KU needs to get a quick bucket. I don't think he realizes when he slashes to the basket what kind of opportunities he opens up for KU's offense. One thing I have noticed is that earlier in the season every time Newman drove to the basket, he would do everything he could to avoid any sort of contact. As of late, Newman is driving to the basket with a purpose and has been more than willing to absorb contact.
Agree. Last night he drove strong and only picked up one charge and I think you guys could live with that.
The only problem giving dok that many touches is he is a terrible passer out of the post----it looks like he throws it to the perimeter with his wrists.
