KU and Nova Fans

Duke starts 5 NBA 1st rounders. Plus, I think everybody but Duke fans is tired of the K slobberfest by now.

I don't really have a preference both are playing very good ball right now. There is certainly appeal to facing Duke?K in that game...sure all the national media talk will be about K but I think the opponent is going to be the rooting favorite for the masses and while in general the masses are idiots, this could win a lot of casual hearts and minds.
I don't care about opponent just want to see 2 wins...as an aside, man I really want KU to beat nova because i want to watch and enjoy the duke/carolina game...if KU loses that first game not sure I will watch or enjoy the second.

You don't want to play Duke... we pay the refs WAY more than any state school could afford.
Crazy as it seems, I'm secretly rooting for UNC. All due to friends IRL who doesn't know this board exist.

I asked a Duke friend if he would pay 500 bucks for Duke to win the title. He said yes. I asked if he would pay 1000 bucks for Duke to win the title, and he said yes.
Then I asked... would he pay $10,000 for Duke to win a title, IF everyone involved would know that the win was because of him.
He said yes.

1. Nova
2. Kansas
3. Duke
4. UNC

Also it's easy to root for others when no matter who wins they'll still be behind UK.
It would take quite a bit for any program to solidly dethrone Kentucky.
Yea, if Carolina wins they're at 7, with more final fours and head to head. It becomes much more of a discussion, a discussion I don't want to have.
I think I’ve finally resigned to not giving a damn anymore on being “dethroned” of any record. Lately I’d just rather see results, records be damned. I’ve had pride as a UK fans for UK having some pretty lofty records, but when I see how they fall to teams that are just playing winning ball and aren’t chasing records, they’re chasing wins, I’m beginning to just want the wins more lately. Jay Wright isn’t close to breaking any of those and his program is living their best life the last several years.
They're too busy trolling the KU board.
I'm starting to hope that Wright and Villanova disappear into obscurity.
unc. Like to see their run end after they win. They’re just really hot right now. BDuke is the better team and more concerning for KU.
Think I would like the opportunity to send coach K home with a loss in the Natty game. This KU graduate would like Duke please. If you're a blue blood, you want to play on the biggest stage and win the game that has extra special meaning to the opposing side.
