When Zion committed to Duke in January I began mentally preparing to take a big fat L to the Blue Devils. But things have changed the last few months. Kentucky returned three key guys and an unproven commodity in Baker. EJ Montgomery and Ashton Hagans committed. And then the Cats added a 5th year senior and All-Pac 12 guy in Reid Travis.

Duke is obviously loaded as well, but very young. They'll be a lot like Kentucky was a year ago in terms of youth. But more talented.

I'll take Kentucky in this one due to our depth at seemingly every position. And the experience on the roster. (Can't believe I'm saying that.) But of course I'm taking Kentucky, I'm a homer. I'd expect Duke fans to pick their squad as well.

But what says the fan who has no rooting interest in the game? (Although most people watching will probably be hoping that both can find a way to lose lol)

It"ll be an interesting matchup and almost impossible to predict since the guards on both teams are unproven and complete X factors.

This will be the best defensive OAD Duke team imho. Bolden will be the best rim protector we've had a in while plus Reddish and Barrett's length is impressive.

UK has insane depth so they're better equipped to handle foul trouble.

Both teams will be figuring things out but I give the Duke the edge because they"ll have the best player on the floor.

This is a UK- Dook thread, leave the team(UNC) that owns BOTH of their asses out of it.
Speaking of asses. Here is a little sneak preview of some UNC porn I found. Lil 3-way action. #1 distracts Ramses while #0 sneaks up from behind. Oldest trick in the book! ram on ram on ram action!

I think both teams have question marks. Without seeing either team id guess Travis and Washington for UK will have a field day on the glass and that will be the difference.

Kentucky, we'll be a very balanced team. Travis and Washington are going to be a monster combo.

Watch out for Duke in March for sure.

PJ Washington is not a good rebounder. Every big on Duke was rebounding at a higher rate per minute than Washington last year (Bagley, Carter, DeLaurier, Bolden, Vrankovic, White). Also, Bolden and DeLaurier rebound at a higher rate (Jack White, too) than Reid Travis... Kentucky will have advantages over Duke, I'm not disputing that. But I don't believe rebounding is one of those areas.

Please stop saying that.

Or take an elementary statistics class.

Either one.
