This was the same conference chest thumping we heard from the ACC in 2017 and although UNC won it all the other 8 ACC teams combined to go 5-8. 😆
Also, it's going to be Gonzaga or Baylor barring massive injuries or some other unforeseen circumstances. Both those teams could play a sub-par game against almost anyone else's A game and still win.
Does kenpom hand out banners? That’d be pretty cool to have a mid season kenpom top eleven banner.

What a bad break for the Big 10. The year they think they are the best, and may be, they probably have even less of a chance than usual of winning a National Championship.

Exactly what does this mean? If Gonzaga were to win the title this year, are you gonna crown the WCC as the best? Or will you feel the best TEAM from a meh conference, won the title?

Yes, Very much enjoy being in the ACC. But I didn’t jump up and down in joy when UVA beat TXTech. I get no satisfaction in UNC or Duke accomplishing anything. Could care less what Clemson does in the CFP.
Honestly can’t even think of another acc team I’m even remotely fond of. There’s a few I don’t absolutely loathe, like FSU and ncstate, but I’m hardly a fan either. So why would I care how good the rest of the teams in the conference are? So I can get on here and brag about how great the conference is, even if we don’t have a shot to win it? Don’t see the point.
Does Baylor being really good this year somehow make tcu and Iowa state fans feel better about the current state of their program?

We’ve also hopped around conferences quite a bit, maybe that contributes.
But I highly doubt many UK fans will be rooting for Tennessee to make a FF run so they can have that sense of conference pride.
UT sucks. But, they're our conference rival. We've played 230 games. We're up 156-74 btw.
Point being UK fans will never root for them. However as a whole, we are one of the founding members and we do want the rest of them to do good (except UT), overall.

I personally like when Michigan plays good teams instead of cupcakes. Being in a good conference makes conference season chalk full of exciting matchups. That’s why I care.
