That game was horribly officiated. Sampson a a very good coach, but the fouling wasn’t part of the strategy. Houston only has 9 rotation players and can’t afford a foulfest
It wasn’t horribly officiated. Everytime Broome caught the ball. Houston just swatted and hacked at him. He alone missed 12 free throws. It was a great strategy. Combine that with marks for houston playing the game of his life
Auburn gifted a home game vs a 1 seed as a 9 seed and proceeds to get outscored by 27 points in the second half despite shooting like 30 FTs. Pretty big choke by Auburn. Not as bad as last year with two 1st round picks but definitely blew a golden opportunity.
Nah. Auburn really just wasnt all that good this year. We actually probably overachieved
