KState is on fire. Figured they’d be focused but this is ridiculous.
They’re actually playing defense tonight. If they can get it going on both sides of the court they’ll be tough for anybody to beat. But they aren’t going to bring this kind of effort for anybody else except maybe when TCU comes to town. I’m actually surprised we’re only down 9. They’re shooting 100% from 3 and the FT line and have made multiple acrobatic shots around the rim. Feels like they should be up 15-20/

I actually feel good about this one. KState played about as good as possible and we’re still in this game. If KState moves the ball like they have they may win. If they decide to do like they did the last 10 minutes , “dribble around the 3 to take step back guarded jumpers” without running any offense….they will lose.
McCullar needs a break away from basketball. He’s been off the last several games. Ever since Tech.
KState doesn’t miss open threes. At least not when they play KU. Tonight they’re hitting all the open ones and about half the guarded ones.
Year after year, KU makes free throws look hard. Even Dick can’t sink them consistently. Clearly a curse.
KU’s struggled offensively the last several games are due to McCullar’s shooting slump. Until he gets his shot back we only have 4 offensive players on the court. Really limits what we can do. It’s making it tougher on everybody else. KState isn’t even bothering to guard him, which just gets in his head even worse.
Dick is gonna be a 75-80% FT shooter. Good but not as good as you’d think. Being a great jump shooter doesn’t always translate to FT shooting.
Kansas can’t really complain about the officiating, they’ve gotten the 50/50 calls.
They’ve been calling contact on the drive tonight.
KState needs to get back to driving and passing like they were in the 1st half. Too much one on one step back jumpers right now. Not gonna get many calls that way.
A lot of guys are struggling with their shot right now. Been the same way at the FT line. Hopefully this means later in the year they’ll all get hot at the same time.

Refs are weird tonight. They’ve let a lot of contact go multiple times but then will call phantom fouls with zero contact.
I didn’t watch the 1st half but in the 2nd, easily 80% of the fouls have been whistled by the old fat gray haired ref.
He’s really good. Really really good tonight. Everything is pure wherever he shoots from tonight. You can tell he’s feeling it tonight.
Hehe. I know. But he’s averaging 19 points and is a haus.
Sasser to me is the best player In country
Edey is the most dominant
Why doesn’t Udeh or Elijifor play more down low? Udeh was like a 5* blue chip center
