If Coach Taggart doesn’t make it in Tallahassee Stoops will be the first call
So the #10 recruit in the nation is considered a leftover?
Kentucky been beating out OSU for recruits recently.
4* Peters transfers in from FSU. 5* Rogers commits today.
We've been recruiting him since 8th grade. GTFO with this nonsense.
Trying to give BucksLAN a run for his money on douchiest comment in the thread eh?
Can he handle Calipari just rolling the ball out to him?
Overrated has been lmfao.
Youre also comparing a QB that won't ever start here with one of the best recruits in your pathetic football teams history that's probably going to be a day 1 starter.
Like who?? Recruits we stopped recruiting a long time ago? It's hilarious seeing Kentucky fans say this kind of nonsense and act like elitists all of a sudden. I'm enjoying every minute of it in this thread.
Me too. Great pickup. This thread is almost as good as the commitment.
Fans from teams that stopped recruiting him are still here talking about him. Good enough for me.
He's good at that
This thread is still going?
Great talent going where he wants to go.
We should all wish him the best.
Congrats on a great pick up.
Kentucky offered him as an 8th grader. The first team to do so.
It is if you dont get him.
Looks like OSU offered him as well.
An offer doesn't mean he's being recruited by said school. Just a FYI. And yes of course Kentucky offered him as an 8th grader, they're notorious for offering anyone and everyone extremely early.
To be fair, that kid was a Uk fan from the day he was born. Still a good get though.
I guess they just hand out offers to people they're not recruiting.
Weird strategy, but I guess it works for them.
Indeed. I was only responding to the "who else chose UK over OSU" comment.
That guy had offers to both.
Just like the guy UK got yesterday.
We were not recruiting him to play d line. Thank you.
Congrats on the commit!
Way to go- number 10 recruit --- here is hoping he helps KY continue their dominance over those Gamecocks-
Yep. You know how it goes there. Family ties and all run deep. Hard for UK or UofL to turn a guy a lot of times. Usually when it happens it seems to coincide with one of us being way down and the other up.
This man gets it!
Kentucky's recruiting has picked up alot of steam over the last few year's, I think they got their bag game in line with the UGA and Alabaga...
Our bagmen are carrying awfully light bags then. We sold playing time the first 2 years. Then it slacked until now. After a 10 win season.
Too bad he can't develop all those stars.
3* and 1st round pick Deandre Baker would probably disagree
Watch Nebraska take this kid from you.
It warms my heart to see that Kentucky is relevant in these off-season discussions.
Stoops is doing something right.
I'll even admit that I wanted his ass gone after the Southern Miss debacle a few years ago.
Kentucky plays football?
Translation = Day is no Meyer and couldn’t close ... he is not considering Ohio st at all so I will deny that ohio st even offered the #10 player 5 star.
Once again, you make a complete and utter fool out of yourself. Tell me on May 31st if Ryan Day can close a recruitment or not.
In this thread I've learned Kentucky football is the future and Ohio State football just can't cut it anymore.
In this thread Ive learned Ohio State fans deem themselves superior yet cant seem to stay out of the thread without acting like a bunch of salty butthurt pussies over a recruit they werent going to land in the first place. It came down to Kentucky and Georgia. Piss off Nancy boys.
What you learned is, UK is taking recruits that other big name schools are offering scholarships to (but not recruiting, apparently).
Welcome to UK Football.
His best friend and mother want him at UK and he has 3 former teammates on Kentucky’s team already. He announced today on Instagram Live that he’s wearing number 5 at UK, he’s playing D Line and he plans and signing and enrolling early.
