    I find it very difficult to find sites that have reliable college baseball offseason news and recruiting. Most of them want you to buy a membership which I will never do.

    The reason you don't see a lot about the recruiting aspect is because D1 baseball programs only offer 11.7 scholarships to split up amongst their entire team of about 30 players. Full rides are few and far between unless you're left handed and throw 95. A scholarship offer is usually only a 25% scholarship. Since baseball is not considered a revenue generating sport except in the SEC, many D1 programs are not even fully funded and hence may have fewer than 11.7 some as low as 5-6. D2 and NAIA actually offer more scholarships in baseball.

    the MLB teams get the pick of the litter. then the colleges get those that don't sign and the undrafted players.
