Is there a defensive All American team?

Never really looked at it because Michigan never use to play defense. Now that we have some elite defenders I’m wondering if there is an all defense team.

I know the ACC votes on an all defensive team but I don't think they do it at the national level. I'm sure other conferences also do it. They do a national defensive player of the year though.

Yeah I couldn’t find one.
