And uva had crazy things occur for them in the elite 8, final 4, and national title games. They could have and probably should have all three of those games.

For sure. It's the equivalent of US soccer fans bragging to Italians that they've been to the Round of 16 four times this century, whereas Italy has only been twice... Italians are like, "So what? We won a freaking World Cup. And you've never even come close to sniffing one."
