The Kibbie Dome. This place is brutal.
He said the worse, not the shittiest...
Yep. The freaking goal posts are attached to back walls.
That's not billy Brice or Athens
You're right. Sanford is nowhere near that shitty looking.
Did they at least turn the heat on?
High School Football Game? I've never been to a game there, but I did stop by and do a walk through while driving from Lewiston, ID to Pullman, WA one day. Looks cool on the outside though!
UI winter commencement. Campus actually isn’t that bad.
Thought so. Heard that place is the ultimate crap hole
Pics or GTFO
Good luck in your bowl game
No it ain't to your pity.... You guys ain't poor. The Dabo Bowl needs sprucing up...
Thanks. Not really intriguing to me playing a 9-4 Texas team, but I'll watch none-the-less
Not to worry.... How long can it take to matriculate 37 sheep farmers? I suppose the campus is at least furnished with heat...
I actually think it should be a good Game.... I wish LB would drop in to give us his take on it....
Not gonna lie ... Clemson's stadium really does look like an oversized high school stadium.
Ahhhh. Good point.
Little did you know it, but you just paid it a compliment.
t gonna lie. 31-0
Good for you. What does that have to do with the stadium?
It was a great place for the show for the 90's but it hasn't aged very well...
We can't have the best stadium like ohio state but we can sure beat them
Probably all that lights up on the scoreboard...
Yeah, luck for you cause it'd a sad place to return to if you lost....
So you don't think the stadium needs work .... because Clemson can beat Ohio State? Doubt Dabo shares your opinion.
Been there twice. It's a dump. But the over sensitive Clumspon fans here will say otherwise.
I'm not even trying to trash on Clemson honestly ... I was just stating an opinion.
I don't know how it is in other parts of the country, but around here most high school stadiums have a basic look with a large "home" section and a smaller "away" section across from it just like Clemson.
Never been so I can't comment on the actual quality of the stadium and whether it looks "run down" or not. But hey, some people are super sensitive.
I opened this thread expecting to see Legion Field
There are high school stadiums in Texas bigger than the Kibbie Stadium
Which side is the small away side?
Left side ...
Ah... see that’s actually the home side.
Why is the home side smaller than the away side?
There's I believe 8 FCS schools that play in indoor football stadiums and I bet they aren't all brand spanking new either. Reading up on the history of the place, I'd say they've gotten their money's worth out of it - aesthetic marvel or not.
Idaho, Idaho State, North Dakota, North Dakota State, South Dakota, Northern Iowa, Northern Arizona...hell, Syracuse for that matter. Every one of these are at least 20 years old and some are closing in on 50 years in age. I'm betting most all of them are multi-purpose too.
Lot of way up north schools in that list, too.
I'd love to see a P5 school go into North Dakota State's dome and play a game. I went to a UNI game there once and my gawd it's the loudest stadium I've ever been to for any sport or event and it's not really close.
Buncha jealousy up in here. I guess if you don't make the playoffs you got to find something else to consume your time.
Because there’s a cemetery on the Homeside that limits the Expansion of the stadium on the Homeside. It’s also one of the reasons why it has the moniker Death Valley.
Well you learn something new every day .... neat.
So like .... is it haunted?
