Purdue is susceptible to those athletic squads. They are tons impressive actually took a close look @ their game yesterday they really do run the correct offense given Edey's unstoppable game. They fed that man nearly every trip down did exactly what you are supposed to do.
But when they face a team that speeds them up that has better athletes you gotta wonder if that could reduce his impact on a game. They really need to control tempo.

Why didn’t you include the most recent tournament? 4 Sweet 16‘s or better in the last 5 tourneys. Only Gonzaga and Michigan can match that.

The Big 10 style does not translate well to the tourney. Except for Wisconsin the year they made the title game, but they had two really good players.
Kinda felt they overwhelmed/overachieved early and then whipped up on the B1G..
Not gonna say they didn't earn their seed. Preseason unranked to winning some big noncon games, followed that up with two B1G titles and a 1 seed.
Dumb, crazy madness is the only guarantee during tourney time.

Yep that Wisc team had things this Purdue team did not, two dudes that can get their own shot. Frank was just a versatile beast and Dekker could put the ball on the floor and get easy buckets attacking the rim. That Wisky team also had veteran guards not unheralded FR.
Purdue didn't have a single guy on the wing or the 4 spot capable of creating their own shot for easy buckets near the rim.
This is the decline of today's game. A team this flawed got a 1 seed and won their league by 3 games.
Everyone and their mother knows Fran would lose to a 16 seed if he was a good enough coach to ever get a 1 seed.
