Houston

Interesting story in the second round game.

Rutgers G Jacob Young from Jack Yates HS in Houston is the son of former Cougar Micheal Young.

Young's #42 is up in the rafters in their arena and works to this day for their basketball program...

Should be an interesting storyline.

Don't think Rutgers has enough to win. They are an older team so think they will put up some type of fight.

How bad was the injury happened at the first minute for Houston? They looked dominant in the game but against a better opponent they may struggle without such an important player.

Looked weak and should have lost to a pedestrian Rutgers squad. They've gotten a very favorable draw and continue to do so, but they'll lose as soon as they play a good team

I picked Syracuse to win....That zone is gonna be a problem for a team than cannot shoot.

I think Cuse comes back down to earth and Houston wins by 6-8 points. Sorry brooky. Love ya dog.

Jarreau's health is important...
Especially considering the guy needs to get off screens.

We will see how they handle defending the guards for Syracuse.
I just favor them because their guards are better defenders than the ones at WVU and they don't turn the ball over.

Jarreau can't play around 100% or none at all.
Mark and Sasser are good players but they aren't Jarreau yet

Rutgers had the ability to play iso ball.

For a patched together roster they weren't a horrible team.

They have better individual players than Syracuse.
Neither of those guards for Syracuse had the ability to put the ball in the basket on a consistent level.

Everyone was talking about the zone defense. But Houston's D was by far superior.

Houston played well but their journey will end on Monday. Oregon State reminds me of that 2011 VCU team, they are destined to be the first ever 12th seed to make it to the final four.

Ethan Thompson is a lethal scorer. As always they have a bunch of California players.
But unlike most of the times they have one who is a great basketball player.

Should be a great game.

Warith Alatishe is a Houston player on Oregon State who wasn't wanted by Sampson twice.
Has probably been their best all around player the two games I watched them.

Interested if they go big again...
Worked against Oklahoma State but Houston is a little different. Their players are a little older than Oklahoma State.

How they double the post is ruthless....

If I was Oregon State I would go small. Who knows what they do.

Tramon Mark cut into his playing time

They just had too many guards not enough playing time.

Mark was the one who won the game for them against Rutgers.
Mark is actually from the same hometown and HS as Andre Ware their Heisman Winner. Dickinson in Galveston County

Rutgers roster wasn't "patched together". Almost everyone returned from the previous year. Young was the only rotation player that didn't start his career at Rutgers. If anything, they had more continuity than most teams in college basketball.

Rutgers had a better team than Syracuse, however. That was true

Jarreau is the most disrespected player in College Basketball

Why the hell do they talk about Garza ...

I would take Jarreau over him everyday of the week
You also quadrupled down on Shaka >>>>>Beard. Will be hilarious if Texas hires Beard.

Can we at least wait until they win?

Looks like they pulled it off, for a time I thought they were done for. Anyway, looks like this is as far as they will go, they dont look like a team capable of making it to the championship game.
