Has your school ever gone 0-8 vs it's rival in the two major sports?

This most recent UF graduating class didn't experience a single win vs FSU, not in football, not in basketball. Four years... 0-8.

I don't know what I would do with myself if I had to endure that.

Both Notre Dame and USC have gone decade long stretches without beating each other in football. Both teams have enjoyed periods of complete dominance in the rivalry.

We've dominated Michigan in football recently but in basketball it's been more of a wash. Most of the time we play each other twice in basketball (as opposed to once for UF and FSU) so it's much harder to stay undefeated.

We almost pulled that off in my four years at Ohio State. 4-0 in football and 3-1 in basketball.

The 2017-18 season was the first time Penn State beat Pitt in football this century and only the second time in basketball this century.

Up to that point, football had been 2-0 and basketball had gone 7-1, including a 7 game win streak up to this season. Since the 2000-01 loss in basketball, Pitt had gone 8-0 vs Penn State in the two major sports. Safe to say we dominate the state.

We've been close but as the Buckeye posters have mentioned, it's tough when you play in BB more than once a year.

Think Clemson is currently 7-1 and set up nicely to make it 9-1 in 2018.

Currently Minnesota has these two losing streaks vs Wisconsin
Football 0-14 (Last time UW lost to Minnesota, I was a high school senior.)
    Basketball 0-8

I thought FSU’s 2nd sport was softball now?

In fairness if you simply expand this to just the Big 3 sports, we likely have a winning record vs. FSU between all 3 major sports during those 4 years. That is how lopsided the baseball series matchup has been recently as well...
