Has CBB talent improved and more plentiful over the last several years?

Definitely more depth with better teams overall...however, lack of dominant teams.
Right now there are several teams rated over 35 on kenpom. Things seem better.
A few things:
COVID year
Unlimited transfers
Paying players
All are contributing to teams being able to build teams in new ways with a lot less uncertainty than when you had to recruit 16-17 year olds and develop them.
Thankfully the COVID year is finally gone after this season. Too damn many 6th year players still playing.

Even though UK is benefitting from it this year, I agree with this. Remove the extra year of eligibility and only allow one free transfer.
This. Talent is more spread out.
Lack of dominant teams because the lack of great coaches. There will be alot of good teams because of NIL.

I like the talent being more spread out again. Used to love everyone signing with UK, but that proved to have limited success, so I’d rather see the sport benefit from that.
Blue Bloods aren't the only ones paying for players now.
