Obviously UCF is number one. The other 3 are surprises or barely made the cut.

This is what UCFs Rise to Dominance looks like.

Can I get the Mortal Komat “It has begun” gif?

UCF should thumb their nose at any mention of invitations to P5 conferences and go independent.

This would allow the scheduling freedom to hit the road against big name P5 opponents like another once upstart program.

Very true. FSU certainly proved that an upstart can dominate. And it’s so great seeing old programs who haven’t done much like uf, show that they UCFeel so threatened by us.

Are UC****ing kidding me? I don't see UCF as ANYTHING but an upstart. I know they've had good players. Brandon Marshall for Denver was one. Kevin Smith another. That quarterback for Minnesota was pretty good. I don't doubt there are other people including those few I just mentioned and I don't say it trivially, either. Minnesota Q.B. had the goods. But I don't see a lot of depth. Am I wrong? (Please correct me if I am).

I like applying the BYU analogy because you keep mentioning UCF like they are world-beaters. 1996 isn't that long ago and they are 8-50 against 'good' a.k.a. P-5 competition. That, frankly SUCKS.

BYU's isn't especially good. 65-85-1. But a far cry from 8-50. Your record is PATHETIC.

Head to head is one opponent, unlike swimming, golf etc

There really isn't any difference. Winning is measured against one or more opponents bit the national champion is the one group of athletes that collectively account for the team's score. In football that"s based on 12 games any one of which might eliminate a team from a championship. Ideally a national championship is settled on the field of play
It isn't hypothesized. Either you get it done or you din"t. No second chances. I think that's the part people are confused about.
You lose that means a team is better. If you beat them that means you are equal, second go around. Double elimination therefirre applies. That's the basis for inclusion/exclusion. Two losses eliminate a team entirely. CFP has that part right. 2/3 determines a CWS championship. FWIW.

The similarities between FSU and UCF continue.

UCF must be praying UF gets slammed with the second harshest probation ever handed down short of the death penalty by the NCAA.

Also, 3 of those had losses in football. How can they have head to head winning records in every sport?

Lol I know this is a troll but I couldn’t help myself.... Miami is the only one in danger being removed due to being poors. FSU’s fan base is too large to get removed as a big three.

You’re phrasing it wrong. It’s a winning record in all sports with head to head competition.

Still not clear on "head to head" sports. How is tennis head to head and swimming is not? Swimming has both dual meets and larger tournaments... and so does Tennis, right?

    I'm confused.

    Head to head is 1v1.

In tennis, whether it is a tournament or a regular season match, there's only two teams/schools on the court at any given time, yours and your opponents. Yes, there might be 10 teams/schools in the tournament, but each match is played with only 2 teams/schools going "head to head" against one another.

Other sports such as swimming or golf, can have multiple teams/schools competing simultaneously on the same playing field, against each other.

    Example:
In the Olympics, a max of 2 teams/countries can compete against one another in any given tennis match, whereas up to 8 teams/countries can compete in any given swimming event.
