Of course we're good. duke is our rival so anytime they lose it's a good day. NC State is next but the numbers don't lie and Roy hates them. When March rolls around I'm gonna be the biggest hater out there so I want all you guys to lose.

Nah. UNC is very possibly the best program of all time, but I don’t necessarily like to see ol’ Roy lose.

The 2002 season was entertaining. At the start of the season, I boldly/loudly told my homeroom class that UNC would have a losing record on the year. One of Carolina's faithful wasn't buying it. He insisted on throwing down a wager. I said okay, let's do it. The class clown overheard all of this, and he wanted in on the bet, too. He implicitly trusted my judgement with sports. So the Carolina fan simultaneously lost two bets and was pretty pissed when he slammed down the $40 on our desks. "Here's your f*****g money!"
I mostly enjoyed the season because I could look over every morning at this kid's face and see the shame. It was a very enjoyable season.
