Why have UF fans been reduced to living in the past by bragging about Tebow?

    A few reasons:

    1. Uga has flipped the rivalry on the field.
    2. UF has been the 2019 off-season Joke of CFB.
    3. Uga has more recent success with the 2017 sec championship and playoff win.
    4. Uf Losing too many recruiting battles.
Y’all can’t handle all these issues in a healthy manner, so you just bury your heads in the old glory days that mean nothing to recruits today. That’s some next level insecurity.

    Duh.

    This is their MO.

Live in the past...when it is convenient.

Throw stones whilst living in glass houses.

    Spin spin spin.

    The gator way.

Unfortunately for you I haven’t argued this year’s results should be ignored while at the same time claimed someone else was living in the past.

Like Cam Newton or many others he's now a former Gator with a troubled past. This happens at every program, UGA included. Now this is where you go off the rails and I don't understand how you can't see this: the reason you get so much joy out of UF's current problems is UF's past success. Had UF not won multiple football national championships in the new Milinium you wouldn't care about what was going on at UF. But as UF has been beating UGA's ass over the course of your lifetime and has won a handful of football national championships along the way you hate UF. Just admit the truth.

    LOL!
    1. UF has won 3 of the last 5, I would hardly call that flipping the rivalry.
    2. Only to obsessed UGA and FSU fans like yourself, page 9 and you are still here!
    3. You are correct on this one congrats!
    4. UF literary just beat UGA head to head for a recruit last cycle, WTF are you talking about?

The only insecurity I see, is coming directly from YOUR keyboard...

Back to the previous decade again? You just cant help yourself from doing it. No one cares that Newton was on the 2007 UF team. I know you dont agree, but what matters is something more recent, like now, 2019. Now, your offseason has been a pleasure to watch. Contrary to your logic, I would enjoy it even if it were UT or GTU, and they have been weak programs for a long period of time.

    1. UGA has won 5 of 8 since Urban left UF in shame, which is a major change for our rivalry. Its got you gators spooked.
    2. No other offseason program can compare to UF 2019. FSU won a MNC in 2013, so this refutes your idea that a MNC would make a difference in how your rivals view your current shenanigans.
    4. One recruit who is a gator legacy? He should have been locked up long before he was.

But go ahead and tell us how awesome the gators used to be.

Our norm over the last 40 years or so has been awfully good. The 2000-teens was an aberration.

1990-2001 and 2006-2009 arent your norm.

    1906-1989, 2002-2005, and 2010-now are your norm.

Its more like 1930-1950 is not our norm. The 1950s are not even our norm.

You might want to take a look at our winning percentage outside of that godawful 1930-1950 swoon.

Your winning of 1950-1969 was 62.1% and 1970-1989 was 59.3% with an overall for this 40 season period of 60.6%. Yall are at 61.4% so far this decade, so it looks like right where yall belong. 1990-1989 was clearly an aberration.

As I said, the 50s was our next worst decade. We won 70% in the 60s.

Doug Dickey tanked the program in the late 70s but we bounced back strongly in the 80s.

Looking at the state’s growth and looking at the fortunes of the other two major programs in-state, winning big is the new (40 years now) norm.

Link to a thread where you are carrying on about UT or GTU for ten pages? Then again it is you, this kind of lunacy might be typical. Perhaps UGAs lack of success has had more impact than I thought.

Neither of those programs have the special combo of what we have here:

    1. an entitled fan base living in the past
    2. a too soon to be trash talking head coach
    3. a very impressive offseason blooper reel that makes the head coach look silly

SEC champs 2017. UF desperately wants to be good enough to win the SEC after their decade in the dirt.

There is truth in what you say. In the past 10 years:

UF 3 SECCG appearances, 0 championships
    Mongrels 4 appearances, 1 championship

Interesting contrast in perspective. For us, that is a decade in the dirt. For the mutts, just a little bit better is glorious.

What you consider great is very close to what we consider sucks. ROTFLMAO.

What I consider great? Show me where I used the word "great".

The current decade started in 2010 and ends in 2019.

    Head to head: 5-4 UGA
    SEC titles: 1-0 UGA
    Playoff wins: 1-0 UGA
    SEC east titles: 4-2 UGA
Overall Winning % national rank: UGA 12th, UF 37th
    SEC winning %: UGA 67%, UF 56%
