It means they vote independent, a red dot in a blue state or a blue dot in a red state.
The up/down arrows at the bottom right that send me quickly to the top and bottom of the thread or thread list are much appreciated. Also the automatic positioning at the next unread post and the Go To Next Unread button. Plus the notification new posts have been made while typing a reply so we can check and make sure what we're going to post is still relevant. All very nice!
I still cannot start a conversation using Chrome on a PC with a Premium subscription. There is no button anywhere enabling one to do so. Apparently it can be done on a smart phone but not on a PC. This PM feature is important! The competition has it!
I don't know about today. But I know yesterday there was an issue with the team sites not having PM. However the national boards (The Main board and Soundoff) both had it working.
If you click on an avatar on this board there will be a box that pops up with the option to start a private conversation. Keeping in mind that this is an option for paying subscribers only.
Leave it to Rivals to fk something up.
Of course I'm on the other side of the street but I do have to agree that it's one of those few features that adds value for the subscriber and as I mentioned earlier in this thread it would be abused more by non subs.
Personally I would be interested in what would make the sites worth subscribing to from those of you who have chosen not to?
Why pay $10 a month for a message board? I can get recruiting info from Twitter.
I have to reiterate Mizzou's statement. There is not enough exclusive (To Rivals) posting of information to compete with free sources. Therefore the question becomes whether $10 is worth paying to access premium message boards to just chat with people.
The plus to me of having a subscription vs not:
The main board allows a little more flexibility in their posting, And you learn about a recruit or team issue maybe 5 minutes before the normal board does. All of the board reporters get their information from ESPIN, Twitter, Facebook, etc. We have so many posters here, that the information shows up on this free board within 10 minutes of it hitting the team board.
So...not worth $10 a month.
Haha..I see they changed the language on the first page to now acknowledge only the premiums get certain features.
Maybe we should add Rivals to the JD/GM thread.
How to edit a Title
In a thread, if you are the OP, Go to the right of the title where there will be a line called "thread tools" , click on it & it has "edit title" and "add poll"
I'm going to test the Quote button because I don't know what it is or what it does.
How many quotes can you quote in one post?
How do you follow someone and how can you tell if someone is following you?
You walk slowly behind them then check behind you. This isn't the CIA, you know.
But if you want a serious answer, to see who is following you, click on your name in the far right corner at the top. You'll see "Your Profile Page". Click on it & look down to the left, you can see who, if anyone is following you.
To follow someone, click on their name, About 2 rows down will be Profile Page, then Follow, then Ignore. You click follow & there you are.
Merging this into the Help thread. Cut down on clutter
