I was a little too young to really follow the league, but I do remember all the talk around how big the Generals' signing Walker was.

The Bulls were an undisputed success at the gate, running away with the league's attendance title. They notched the only two crowds of 70,000 or greater in league history, including a throng of 73,227 against the powerful New Jersey Generals on March 4.

My Dad and I attended the first ever game for the Birmingham Stallions against the Michigan Panthers on the first season's first Monday night game at Legion Field. Novo Bojovic kick three 49 yard field goals from the exact same hashmark on the field to lead the Panthers to a 9-7 win.

Born in 83 so don't remember it but obviously know about it. My hope is this new iteration of the XFL is conducted more like the USFL but with some tactful boundary pushing takes like the XFL tried the first time. Some of the stuff they tried was good...some of it was absurd. But if they can deliver on some of the stuff NFL fans complain the NFL ignores, it can be a viable league. And do it in the spring/summer. Don't go head to head.

QB Brian Sipe, RB Mike Rozier, WR Gary Clark, DT Keith Millard, LB Vaughan Johnson were all NFL stars/multi year all Pro players. Others like RB Archie Griffin, RB/KR Stump Mitchell, QB Ed Luther were longtime NFL players and pretty successful too.

Head Coach Linde Infante went on to be pretty successful with the Green Bay Packers.

Its a shame the league folded. There were some good teams. I'm convinced the Bulls would've beaten several NFL teams.

U.S.F.L, wasn't around very long. I'm thinking maybe three years? It was ok but I don't think anyone really followed it that closely.
Donald Trump wanted an N.F.L. team. His plan was to take the Generals to the N.F.L.

Denver had Mouse Davis as a head coach.
