for more that 3 days then have it cut short because problem's popping.
    this happened to us
Water heater made the water so hot it was scaulding to take a shower in, need to have the seller adjust the temp setting
TV wouldn't work local or Dish
    DVD player wouldn't work either
    Awning failed to go out
the front control panel would work had to use the backup to make the roll outs work,

made a nice long list of bugs to get worked out.

anybody else have the same type of issues?

I've never had water heater or satellite dish problems when camping because camping is done in tents.

I'm not an avid hunter or fisherman so camping hasn't ever really been my thing, but I do like the outdoors and have gone on occasion and had a decent time. Never had those problems though as we camped out in tents.

Why would I go camping when I could sit inside my house like a normal person?

Sounds like glamping. Never have the urge to go actual camping in a tent or glamping.

    Sucks man.

On the water heater, why wouldn’t the cold water even out however much heat you were using? They’re 2 separate lines.

What kind of camper do you have?

Starts a thread complaining about what can happen on a camping trip.

Proceeds to post: "so STFU about what one can encounter on a camping trip"

If youd simply titled the thread RVing instead no one would be giving shit. You old folks sure are a sensitive bunch.

29' 2019 Forester, already called the dealer and they have already set up a appointment to go thru the camper. with the list we made up, Water Heaters whether in a camper or a home have a way to be set, in this case we will let them set it.

the TV wouldn't even show the local channels and the Dish they installed it themselves that we bought from Camping World again we will let them fix it or replace it, the DVD Player wouldn't work. this was another option that we added that they installed.

they installed so we will let them get it to work, paid 6 figures for it so may as well let the fix the problem

didn't expect perfection so we kept our trips to 1 overnight to campsites within
30 miles of which there are 5 to choose from, this time we were going for 3 nights and 90 miles away.

oh well we will be going back and use the rest of the summer to work the bugs/kinks out so we can go out of state next summer.

Go hiking on the AT once a year. Love it. 3-4 days. Everything you bring is on your back. Its nice to get out there out of touch for a while

Also hunt often, but I glamp when I hunt in some rv or camp house.

the best thing is now more lakes have cabins for rent, the grounds also have firewood that you can either burn or to use for cooking,

some are loaded with Electric/water and sewer
to just sites for tents for those that like to rough it or can rough it. the site we went has access to all 3 and 2 boat ramps for the bigger boats up to Pontoon boat down to the kayaks and fishing boats,

That really sucks man. I took off a few years ago and my brakes locked up. Somehow found someone who fixed it the next day, but could have been disastrous. Usually there are mobile rv repair services if it happens to you again, but not sure that would’ve helped you because I’m sure forest river wouldn’t reimburse you.

you have not done any camping, even when using tent people now have portable generators, portable TV's and portable dishes. camping has expanded, campgrounds have adapted as well KOK campgrounds now have TV hookups, cable or dishes.

Well you're obviously not gimped up enough to where you cant type, so next time, lead off with that info, and call it RVing instead of camping, and you wont have a bunch of people quoting you giving you hell.

it will get tried again, but right now the schedule is packed with DR appointments, Grandaughter is due the 31st August or 1st September. have my Diabetic clinic coming up, sleep testing to see why I snore and if surgery can fix the problem,

getting old told the wife she needs to trade me in a new model. then she reminds she is falling apart as well, then we agree the dog won't want trade in for new models.
