Breazele is gonna give him a better fight than he thinks.

Okay so he is not the most well spoken or educated of boxers, but he knows enough to channel both Ali and Tyson to get a reaction, well done.,

This guy wouldn't have made it this far during the Tyson era with his limited skills "waiting to catch a guy with one punch" he has gotten away with for a while because he hasn't faced any "real" competition.
I can't wait to see Anthony Joshua box his ears off then put him to sleep.

    I don’t know

If we’re being fair, the bulk of the Tyson era was full of a lot of cans, jr heavyweights, and over the hill guys.

I used to be on the Wilder hate train, but The Ortiz fight was the big step for Wilder. Joshua won’t be able to put him to sleep because his recovery time the best in the division since Ali and Lyle. He’s also gotten better at his fundamentals. He’s still not polished, but this isnt a division that has ever been known for technical ability.

I agree there were some bums during that era but definitely some with more skill than guys today. I was stable mates with Razor Ruddock and Trevor Berbick in Ft Lauderdale back in 89' and I believe Razor would have handled Wilder easily, Trevor not so much he was a bum.
The problem with Wilder is he has gotten away with it for so long because he hasn't faced many guys who can box, he was losing lopsidedly so to Fury and got extremely lucky catching him with a couple of shots but still should have lost that fight.
I won't deny his power but if he doesn't develop anymore as a boxer I think even with his solid chin, Joshua who throws alot of combinations with good power put together will be enough to take him down.

One of the most unorthodox fighters we have seen in a long time, hes on a nice run but has fought mostly bums. As far as his shit talking goes hes pretty bad at it.

In boxing you are either really good at talking shit and hyping a fight or you are really BAD at it and it comes off weak.

    Really good trash talkers/hype guys.......

    Tyson
    Bernard Hopkins
    James Toney.........this dude was hilarious
    Floyd Mayweather
    Paulie Malignaggi
    Prince Naseem
    Roy Jones
    Ali
Connor McGregor.....him and Floyds national tour hyping their fight was funny, those two were great.
    Sugar Ray Leonard
Hagler.........he was intimidating with whatever he was saying

Really bad trash talkers who don't know how to do it......

Oscar De La Hoya...........prolly the worst I ever saw, it just looks forced coming from him
    Pacquio
    Joe Frazier
    George Foreman
    Miguel Cotto

Bunch more but those are off the top of my head ^^^^^^

Another really good shit talker is Adrain Broner, ya sure hes a Mayweather ripoff without the boxing talent but he can sure talk a good fight though. Him and Paulie Malignaggis press conferences were hilarious........I guess he slept with Paulies gf leading up to the fight, then paulie said you can have my sloppy seconds, she was a groupie bitch anyway.Laughing

Trash talking in the ring does nothing more than make you look like a complete idiot after you get your ass handed to you, give me a guy who talks with his fists that's the only hype I need to see.

Hopkins had more balls then any fighter I've ever seen. I'm surprised he made it out of Puerto Rico alive.

Problem is, Broner sucks big time. So the knock off Floyd routine is a cheap imitation.

I will tell you a guy who has a ton of heart and a great shit talker that most don't know.............Lennox Lewis. One of my favorite confrontations between two guys who hated each other(for real) happened with him and Riddick Bowe. Keep in mind Bowe was a hothead who would suckerpunch you with no gloves on like he did Larry Donald that one time, Bowe was a maniac who was mentally unstable.

Anybody remember this after the Bowe/Holyfield fight. Watch how Lennox get right in his face and brings up the Olympics.......that's a sore subject with Bowe because Lennox got him back in the day. Lennox is right in his face not backing down, against a nutjob like Bowe that takes heart. Lennox wasn't scared of shit.

I was referring to the Bowe/Donald incident earlier. Two things struck me when I saw this.....

    1. When Bowe turned toward him and squared up Larry shoulda stepped back and put his hands up because he shoulda knew something was coming, they say protect yourself at all times in the ring........you do it outside the ring too because of shit like this.

    2. Why wasn't Bowe arrested. That was a text book assault case and he would have been prosecuted for it.

Donald took that bare knuckle 2-piece pretty good though, gotta give him that. Bowe still couldn't knock him out with 2 clean punches that Larry never even saw coming.

Where would you put Ricardo Mayorga?

Crazy trash talker even though he lost almost all his fights against the big name fighters. Talked a lot of trash against fighters like Trinidad, De La Hoya, Fernando Vargas, etc.

Paulie did a great job hyping fights for a guy who had no power.
