I myself am trying to see when the time is right if I can transfer with eventually having two years of D3 football to a hardship waiver of one year of D1 football. Is there an age limit to college football? Can a hardship waiver be extended beyond a year? I figure when I get in the best shape of my life to then go back to juco and then to a D3 for two seasons and then a D1 for one year. Wish me luck. Age might be an issue though.
