Roy has his ragtag group of recruiting runner ups in contention for an invite to the Big Dance so maybe him.

I would go with Drew. Oats and Howard both could make a case though.

Joking - we are still really bad but 12-6. Even though we are barely winning it’s kinda nice actually beating the bad teams for the first time in 14 years. I’d go with one of the top 3 choices OP.

I'd vote for Nate Oats but all of those guys you listed are deserving

I had to Google who Darian DeVries is. Drake hasn't played a single team with a pulse this year and got destoyed by shitty Valpo last week. They'll probably lose both games to Loyola this week too.

Juwan howard
Going to come off as a Michigan hater, but until they beat someone, I don't see how you could vote for him. Their best win is a disappointing Wisconsin team. Their next best wins are Purdue and PSU.

They are 13-1 and ranked 3 in the nation.

Not their fault their schedule is what is is when they’ve had to postpone games.

And wisconsin beat us by40 😂

The AP Coach of the Year is cursed. NCAA began seedings in 1979. Since that time, 24 of the COYs have had a 1 seed in the tournament. Not a single one has won the whole thing. Imagine if a blue blood had been a 1 seed 24 times in the past 41 seasons - and never came away with a title! People would be constantly talking about the failures in March!

The 17 other years where the National COY didn't have a 1 seed, only once did they outperform their seed, Chris Beard in 2019 with Texas Tech.

AP COY & 1 Seed in the NCAA Tournament.
1979—Bill Hodges, Indiana State (NCAA Finals)
1980—Ray Meyer, DePaul (2nd Round)
1981—Ralph Miller, Oregon State (2nd Round)
1983—Guy Lewis, Houston (NCAA Finals)
1984—Ray Meyer, DePaul (Sweet 16)
1985—Bill Frieder, Michigan (2nd Round)
1986—Eddie Sutton, Kentucky (Regional Finals)
1988—John Chaney, Temple (Regional Finals)
1990—Jim Calhoun, UConn (Regional Finals)

1996—Gene Keady, Purdue (2nd Round)
1997—Clem Haskins, Minnesota (Final Four, later vacated)
1999—Cliff Ellis, Auburn (Sweet 16)
2003—Tubby Smith, Kentucky (Reigonal Finals)
2004—Phil Martelli, Saint Joseph’s (Regional Finals)

Frank msrtin and the gamecocks can't be stopped they are a great team frank needs an extension

Top five conference , just not as good as Big Ten for example 😎
That remains to be seen Noah. You know, the Big 12 said the same thing, so don't trip over their grave to make such a statement. 😉

3 of the top 5 teams in the nation so far Della-may not have a team win the natty, but I think Big Ten would have the most success in the tourney...
