Gotta say, wasn't expecting that many pages. But probably some of my best work...........hahaha!
Good work, I certainly contributed but to be fair, you picked an easy target. Us Clemson fans are like a horny teenager, we’ll jump & hump on anything right now.
After 8 pages, I can truly say that I don't give a shit About this topic
You didn’t answer the questions again. Even my simple explanation as to why it’s possible that there are more than 1 person with the same last name who went to the same school in the same metro area went over your head.
Seriously, I can’t make fun of you anymore. I hope you get things worked out and have a good life. Kids might help.
Nothing has changed. You never were able to make fun of me because you don’t have any evidence of me making some of the dumbest points ever seen on rivals. Points so bad you refuse to defend them.
Whatever Lindsay. I’m not arguing with you anymore. I never would have to begin with if I knew you were a girl. I don’t normally (in fact, never until you) treat women that way. Frankly, I’m embarrassed, especially when I realized how crazy you are. And now that I’ve said that you’ll likely try to blast me for being condescending. That’s not the case. It’s just not the way I am. Good luck to you, not your dogs.
Good. Glad you quit. You made terrible points too often, and I provided the quotes to prove it. That’s all that matters. Me being a 3 eyed man, girl, a rock, or a talking raccoon wouldn’t change that. You are who you are.
Lindsay, you’re a legend in your own mind. I really hope you get help and good luck to you.
It’s more about how bad your points have been rather than how good mine have been. It doesn’t require a legend to shut your BS down. You don’t even understand how tiebreakers work.
You read all 8 pages?
Can't we get back to talking about something important ? Like how Georgia always chokes in big games.
I mean "doesn't try" in big games
At least I understand how football works.
You don’t understand how football tiebreakers work, and you claim that Paul Johnson had efficient passers, which proves you understand far less about football than you claim to.
Bump don’t let this die
No. I don't care enough about Clempsun winning the ACC to read it. That should tell you how depressed I am about football right now.
A combination of living in a hurricane ravaged town and the UVA embarrassment have made me pretty apathetic about football at this time. As a lifelong Gamecock, losses don't get to me but I hate it when my team just lays down like it did in the bowl.
I'll recover and be making sig bets with everybody by August though.
UGA fans are insufferable.
Idk where they get their elitist attitude from considering they haven’t won since 1980 - 39 years.
I think they are truly jealous of Clemson’s success. We’ve won 3 National titles since their last one, but they’ve always had a big brother attitude towards us.
I agree with OP
Clemson will not win the ACC this year.
Theyre going to win it this year, the following year, and the two years after that.
Your team didn’t just lay down... they listened to their coach who told them bowl games were punishment and they weren’t going to practice for it.
I look forward to the amusing sigs you'll have all season.
Shouldn't be a problem with zero competition in the ACC.
Agreed. Just like Bama and the SEC. Both teams will rest their starters all year long until they meet in the playoffs. The SEC was such a cake walk for TUA last year it ended up costing him the Heisman.
Injury more than anything cost Tua the Heisman. SEC had six teams in the final 25. ACC had 2. Enough said.
Hard to look out in the cfb landscape and see a lot of competition. The standard top 5 mostly have equivalent talent. Then theres the “on any given saturday” group.
Clemson could legit have an historic run for a bit.
It is possible.
I thought it was because of him sitting out the second half of all the SEC games because they were blowouts? Couple more things need to be said - SEC 6-6 bowl games. ACC = champs
Deflect all you want. SEC 6 top 25 teams - ACC 2 top 25 teams. Repeat, with the lack of competition in the ACC, if Clemson doesn’t win it, Dabo should be embarrassed!
I would say the same to you. Alabama 1 loss in the SEC in the past three years. Will be favored by double digits in every SEC match up this year. Will likely go undefeated again this year making it 1 SEC loss in 4 years. Most every game they play in the SEC is over by half time. Spent most of the year resting their starters and game planning for Clemson. If Bama doesn't win every game by double digits will be a shocker. Just like the last year neither team will be challenged until they play each other. Why is this so hard for Bama fans to accept ?
The difference is Bama played four ranked teams while Clemson played 1. Taking nothing away from Clemson, they are outstanding but with better competition, more likely Bama loses than Clemson. Why can’t clemson fans accept that?
Over the past 4 years, Clemson has played the most difficult combined schedule in the nation. No doubt, the ACC was down last year, but it’s performance against all opponents speakers for itself. In 2016, Clemson played the toughest schedule and won the NC. In 2017, Alabama didn’t even have to play in a conference championship game and won the title.
Your point is that Clemson has had an easier path to the NC than Alabama. That may have been true in 2018, but Clemson, rather convincingly, showed that it would not have mattered. However, it wasn’t true in 2016, when Clemson played the toughest schedule or in 2017 when Alabama got to rest for 6 weeks before it’s first playoff game.
Clemson has had a harder path to the championship than Alabama 2 of the last 3 years and likely 3 out of the last 4. That’s why the Alabama arrogance doesn’t fly too well.
You don’t get it. We are not talking about Clemson or their OOC schedule. We are talking about the ACC and they aren’t very good. Try all you want but no one, other than fans of ACC schools, will say the ACC, as a conference, is as tough or tougher than the SEC.
Alabama averaged a 3 touchdown lead at halftime against their "brutal" SEC schedule last year. The best team they faced all last year in the first half of a game was the Citadel !!! "ranked" TAM down 18, "ranked" LSU down 16, "ranked" miss state down 21, "ranked" missouri down 20. All of these games were over at halftime and it cost Tua the Heisman. Facts suck.
Didn’t Clemson play one of those weak SEC schools during the regular season?
Pretty sure Clemson was 3-0 against the SEC last year. None of them were as good as Notre Dame or Syracuse
The whole point you were making is that Alabama has a tougher road to the playoffs than Clemson. That’s why you were attacking Clemson s 2018 ACC schedule. I’m calling BS on that.
Try reading. You did read the title to this thread correct? Their OOC schedule has jack shit to do with them winning the ACC. My post, for which you seem to take exception to, was they had no competition within the conference and therefore would win it. I don’t really care if it upsets you are not but the fact is Bama’s competition within the SEC is greater than Clemson’s within the ACC and anyone with any clue about college football would agree.
Only SEC fanboys like yourself think Bama faced any competition in the SEC last year. Unless the Citadel was a conference game. If it was I will give you one competitive regular season game. Clearly this was the reason Bama struggled against Clemson. They coasted all year long in an over rated SEC and were never challenged. When they finally faced a good team the wheels fell off.
You mean like that lowly Texas A&M? LOL
