Don't forget that he was the coach at UNC-Wilmington when the Terps beat them in the First Round of the 2003 Big Dance on Drew Nicholas' three-pointer at the buzzer. Brownell collapsing to the floor and laying there stunned and disgusted is a classic reaction from a sports person after something didn't go in their favor.

Unfortunate. I like to see Brownell lose as much as any decent person.

I'll always remember Drew Nicholas for helping play a key role in Duke's Miracle Minute. He got his pocket picked by Jay Williams, missed two free throws, and missed a three-pointer at the end. Superb.

His shot against UNCW was extraordinary, however. The way he kicked his leg out and maintained his follow-through for multiple seconds was exquisite. Shot looked so pure.

Do you note like him because of the heated exchange he had with Roy a couple years ago?

Yes, was a dude being a sore loser and Roy was too nice about it. Should have told him to shove it and then speared his ass into the bleachers.
