children hospital over 900.000 dollar that they pledged from the King donation after that NEED BEER money sign that he held up on ESPN's game day show.

not only that they pulled their beer for 1 year for free from him.

    thoughts?

“We have not yet received their donation, but we are working with them,” Dana Larson, spokeswoman for the UI Center for Advancement, told the Gazette when asked about Anheuser-Bush’s donation.

Meanwhile, Anheuser-Busch told The Gazette, “We’re working with the University of Iowa hospital system to process our commitment appropriately through its channels as well as ours. As with any transaction or donation, payment terms are handled privately.”

5 months seems a little long but it sounds like they're working on it. You don't just hand over the money without doing your due diligence first.

I’m guessing this is on account of that Des Moines Register 10 year old tweet disaster?

Honestly don’t know if that trainwreck was more funny or sad.

sad state of affairs when they don't follow thru on a donation to a childrens Hospital trying to treat cancer patients.

should have known that some of you would just blow it off just because its just a bunch of kids involved.
