is reporting Texas freshman receiver Bru McCoy intends to transfer back to USC. McCoy enrolled in USC in January & transferred to Texas a few weeks later. Potentially going back to USC. Haven't confirmed it, but what an odd story if it happens

No worries, at his current pace he'll transfer back again right before the season.

As much as coaches complain they make this situation worse by accepting these types of transfers and then wonder why kids do it. 18 year olds sure are an impulsive group of individuals.

How is he even able to do so if true?

He signed an LOI and enrolled officially to Texas.

    Surely there’s rules against this.

No disrespect to USC as it’s a top 5 power of all time, but two different trajectories amongst those two program. Texas is on the rise and USC is declining fast. Heldon isn’t a bad coach, but he won’t get a natty or a playoff birth anytime soon IMO. Kliff is gone, not sure what the allure would be. Stay at Texas where you will compete for national titles for the next few years.

Joel Klatt came out with some interesting facts saying the opposite last year. He had like the #2 start (first 2-3 years) as a USC coach in history.

    SC was spoiled by PC

First 2-3 years he was playing with other coaches guys. It’s his program now and it’s falling apart. We saw that at Oregon under Helf too.

To his credit he had a ton of young talent which was his own last year, yet had a 16 year old as his QB

If he doesn’t get to 8-9 wins this year then yes I will come back to this post and agree with u

An interesting coincidence, this story drops right as Texas recruiting staff is going in vacation. If true this guy sounds like full on drama queen.

Bru thought Texas had the waiver locked. Waiver didn’t even get properly sent in as of a couple weeks ago or something. Delays kill.

Whether he likes Texas or not, he was going to stay I’m sure if the waiver came through. It’s dragged on for a long time for an 18 year old kid and I’m sure he probably has gotten wishy washy as a result

Bottom line - J-Whitt will be better than McCoy when all is said and done.

I'm so glad he didn't choose OU, this kid, can't make up his mind which side of the football he wants to play. Which school he wants to go to this semester. What state he wants.

    Daniels is bordering on 2020.

He was held back 2x (for sports purposes) and was going to be too old to play his senior year of high school football, which is why he reclassified.

Hilton is a bad coach who is weakness is being somewhat masked by high-level talent at USC.

I hope they can find someway to get nine wins so that he sticks around for another couple years.

    He’s an anchor.

If Jimbo Fisher has shown anything, you’re in for a lot more of it… Probably with a few rapes sprinkled into.

You don’t know what you are talking about.
JT would have been fine to play his senior year. He was held back once, not twice, and wouldn’t have turned 19 until after his senior season was over

All he did by reclassifying was get back in synch with his original kindergarten class.

He was born in February of 2000

Which makes him 19. Like most college sophomores

But don’t let the facts get in the way

Non-playoff balls became a relevant when the playoffs begin.

Doubling down on dumb is never a good thing.

A simple Wikipedia check would have sufficed.

NO ONE reported that JT was too old to play his senior year at Mater Dei
