Talk about loaded. Good lord. I saw one prediction where they have like 5 first rounders. Their defensive line will be the best in the country. Their receiving core is going to be one of the best, if not the best in the country. Their QB depth is insane. I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that Alabama and Clemson are undefeated going into the title game. At that point, I really do think Clemson is going to win it in the mini rivalry they have going on. Idk, just a hunch. Either way, they are going to be very good. I think they will be better than the 2016 team.

If Lawrence comes in at QB... I could see it. But while you'll still win the ACC with Kelly... you'll run into a team that he can't beat with his limitations (like you did with Bama last year). Bama ran into the same thing with Hurts when they played UGA.

Tua for Bama and Lawrence for Clemson... if they produce... make it so a defense can't just stop their running game to beat them. And while both have great running games... they will run into defenses at some point where that won't be enough.

Unless Watson can come back to college and play, they won't be better than 2016, in my opinion.

And cuse at home too. FSU on the road and A&M are the big questions, especially both having new energy at HC.

Smart money is on Clemson and they should be in the playoff. But, if there is one concern the conference didn't do them any favors (hey, ACC, maybe protetct your best current asset at the moment, Swofford you dummard).

Like I mentioned earlier, at Wake is going to be tough for a lot of teams in this league. Then four straight divison games. While they alternate home and away, it's including @FSU then @BC to close in the stretch in November.

Clemson should win the conference, get into the playoff, and be in the final. But I don't think its going to be the complete walk through the league.

Yep. NEW being the operative word... How well the new regimes have gotten their azzes and heads wired together is a BIG variable.... Pretty sure established AND talented will win out in both those instances.... Having NC State at home should help...

It has been a constant theme that "D" does the majority of the time.... There have been MANY rules changes to try and get away from that, but the track record suggests there will continue to be more such rules changes in order to alter the track record.... Even when two dynamic "O"s meet it comes down to who gets a stop or two....

Syracuse wouldn't even be in this discussion if Dabo would have put Hunter Johnson in for the injured Kelly Bryant. KB couldn't plant his foot and throw. HJ was/is a pro style qb, and would have made Syracuse look silly. That game was all on the coaches, not the players.

An SEC East team would have expertise in that field.

The acc had one strong team last year. Clemson basically has a free ride to the playoffs.

Be thankful they didn’t get another shot at clemson. Would have probably been 1-1 vs auburn if so.

Did you even look at your own schedule before running this tired narrative? You got a do-over on the best team you played (whom Clemson didn’t need a second chance on). Other than that, Notre Dame was your best win. A team that lost 41-8 to Miami...a “sucky” ACC team.

The sec had the top 2 teams in the nation and another top ten team. Acc only had clemson. Just admit it, acc sucked last year.
