I never thought he would coach til 70, but after his heart issue I think it gave him a new lease on life. He may coach til 70 now.
If he wins another title I think he is done. Watch out for NBA asst coach Aaron Miles and current KU asst and former KU player Jeremy Case as far as candidates.

I've said it many times before and I know most UK fans hate on Self (not sure why), but I like Bill Self. He gives me the impression that he's a good guy, a good teacher and great strategically. I enjoy watching his interviews.
I think most UK fans hate when others are great and they don't understand that hating someone who is successful, is giving that person way more respect than they should. You can't allow someone to live rent free in your mind just because they're good at what they do.
Which is why I don't understand why a certain KU fan can't figure out how to post without slamming UK fans. The BBN is awesome, but damn man, take a break. #rentfree.

Newsflash, when something bad happens at KU, there are going to he threads over at RR. This isn’t hard to believe.
If Rick Pitino says something dumb, there will be multiple threads about him on RR.
If Louisville has another scandal, there will be multiple threads on RR.
If Jeff Goodman writes, or says something… .ANYTHING about UK, there will be multiple threads about him.
Duke, K, uNC, Higgins, Pearl etc… the fact that RR dwellers hate on KU and Self, means you’re most likely doing something great.
You’re issue is, when something bad happens at KU, you immediately head over to RR and get outraged, because there are threads about BS and KU. It's a home board and UK has a ton of homers and you have a hard time dealing with it. It eats you up.
I simply don't go hunting on other teams home boards, that's one way to not get owned. You should try it.

For the 50th time, I rarely look at RR. Haven't looked in weeks. The only reason I looked then was because you brought that Jailhawks post over here.
If 20 recent threads about KU is to be expected, then no one should be crying about the occasional post related to Hagans flashing money or fans issuing death threats. When is this simple point going to sink in?

Btw, an Adidas rep testified under oath that Self didn't know about any payments, and the court ruled that KU was a victim. Shouldn't you be leaving that one alone, by your own logic?
You have to remember I never accused KU of anything. To be honest, I don't think I've brought up win totals.
You keep harping on the same few things as a crutch.
Here's the deal friend. I make light of things and what not but I'm no more interested in KU than I am UT, Duke, Arkansas, etc. Some focus on UK and that's fine. It just tells me who lives rent-free. If dogging another team in particular is a hobby then we're here for it. Shoulder to cry on so to say.
If anyone wants to bring up homeboard, then we know that posters loves reading that homeboard. If someone constantly replies to a certain fanbase, we know who they feel the need to curb any enthusiasm.
Folks tell on themselves, they don't need others to do it.

I've barely posted in the "All things UK" thread. Now check out the KU equivalent, which just happens to be a troll thread created by a UK fan, with well over a hundred more posts, a majority of which were posted by UK fans.
The only time I've been to RR recently was to check out the thread that Jeff copied here. When I did, I found 20 recent KU-bashing threads. Meanwhile, I have yet to create a single thread about Kentucky and rarely post in most of the Kentucky threads.
So what's your criteria for determining who's obsessed?

Btw, I've noticed a lot of actual hateful posts about Kentucky fans lately. None of which were posted by me. Weird that no one says anything about those. Maybe certain people are just obsessed with certain posters?
Point them out. How many are there? If it's just a couple of posters then that tells on them.

Eh, I don't recall getting offended when you, UL fans or UT fans take shots at UK. You wouldn't take shots at UK, or UK fans if we weren't on top.
If we were Cleveland State, you wouldn’t care. Heck, your biggest rival is K-State, but you rarely talk about them, why is that?

Being on top is a bit of a stretch. That's like saying the Patriots are on top.
KU never loses to K-State, so it's not much of a rivalry. Plus, they don't have much of a presence on this board. But when there were a few regulars here the last year or so, I talked about them plenty. Now imagine if half the board were K-State fans who were constantly making "look at me" posts.
No, I just find it weird that you hate UK so much that you struggle to create a post without taking a shot at UK, or the BBN. Obviously UK is in your head.
Which UK fans are making "look at me" posts? Keep in mind, we're in a thread that is something you would find on a KU home board.
