No idea what to expect, although, until I see defense I’m never going to expect a win.

Bigger Monday: Duke @ Miami

Our defense showed flashes at times in the WF game, but then showed lapses as well. I as well like what I’m seeing from JRob and he definitely deserves increased minutes.
White and Robinson seem really good at what Duke needs them to do. Which is defend, rebound and not do things they can’t offensively. I cringe every time I see Javin with the ball jacking up a 3 or just having the ball in his hands in a position involving decision making. Bolden is soft in the post a lot of times and he gets the ball a lot while in there. I do think Bolden and Javin can be really good but they haven’t shown any consistency yet. Sans the time they’ve been hurt.
Javin and Bolden haven’t been playing well the past few months and now they both have injuries. Alex O plays well in Cameron but on the road he hasn’t been playing as well. White, Robinson, Vrank and Goldwire are all sub 300 recruits. Robinson was a walk on.
I don't expect much from our bench against Miami. Everything will depend upon on our starters. We not playing a bottom tier ACC team at home. We are playing a top four ACC caliber team at their place.
I’m not sure we can say Marques or Javin have had much of any “playing well” for more that a few games since they’ve arrived. They are seemingly dinged up a lot and that can be the main cause of that. Tough to get a rhythm when you are missing time.
I am never excited about going into Miami. Especially with how we've looked defensively. I am going into this game with the expectation of using a crude and foul vocabulary. Miami has looked sluggish and has lost some questionable games, but I expect them to look like world beaters tonight.
I feel like the miami game is always lose lose for duke. You win a tough game and you don't get credit---you lose it and its terrible.
Miami is not playing well at all on offense. Hit a couple of long threes and outside of those they're garbage.
Me too. This is only the 2nd or 3rd game I've watched of Duke's I was hoping to see him play
Carter is already half way to a dboule double.
That is how you beat Duke. It's making me nervous that they aren't making more of them in the first half. Means they'll be draining them in the second.
I came into this game rooting for UM but after seeing the horrible IQ, I find myself rooting for Duke.
Dont feel like Duke wins this.

IMO this is the best front court I've seen in recent memory from Duke. The combo of Carter and Bagley is unmatched. It's amazing how well they score inside and grab rebounds. Especially offensive rebounds. Maybe their offensive rebounds are compounded by the fact of the poor outside shooting.
I honestly think that any other year, we would be saying that Carter may be Duke's best big ever. He gets in foul trouble, but if he stays in games, he will be a force more than he already is.
Grayson Allen has killed Duke in the first half with bad shots and poor defense. I know my Duke guys won't like it but it's true. Getting burned defensively on the dribble and the big guys have to help leading to offensive rebounds. He needs to play like a senior leader or let the freshman control the game.
