Wieskamp is dropping by ESPN and Scout, his 3 biggest crimes
    1st he is WHITE
    2nd he is from Iowa
3rd and the most damning of all he committed to Iowa vs a blueblood namely Roy Toy of UNCheats, as the last 2 5* Recruits were BLACK and went to UNCheats to play for Roy Toy.

    You can drive?

I definitely will have to be cautious if I ever make my way through Cedar Rapids. (Why the hell would I go there though?)

Rather be biggest ass than biggest jackass. I'm rather reasonable when I'm not being forced to sort through the drivel you spam on the board. Besides, it was a joke, and you're taking it far too seriously.

Well, Washington is a PG, I could care less if he can dunk or not(he can). Not Sure Nate Mason can even dunk, and he does just fine for himself.

Wasn't questioning his ability to dunk. Just making light of an alley oop. Cheer up it's silly season. You're undefeated at this point!

Gabe Brown ('18 wing, Belleville, MI) commits to SpartansSmokinSmile

    Offered over weekend.

#86 on just revised 4-ltr network ranking. High ceiling. Learning to bring consistent effort but's 6'7", long, skilled and an excellent athlete.

    https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2018/gabe-brown-184406

2018 class (taking 5 prolly) could be entirely in-state.

Yeah, rumor was that Beiline didn't offer because he knew that he was coming to MSU if they offered (dad died a huge spartan fan and this was his dream for his son).

I believe Anthony wright confirmed that.

Side note, is this the worst year for midwest recruiting (rankings wise) ever?

Theres like 2 maybe 3 top 35 guys in the region, and like 5-6 in the top 50 (with one going to depaul for his old HS HC)

Minnesota class is pretty good this year. Probably the best class since Tyus Jones, Rashad Vaughn and Reid Travis.

Iowa loses just 1 senior so they will only have 1, but the good news is they will have 4 SR's and 6 JR's when he steps foot on campus,

the 2019 class is a key class as they will have 4 scholarships to hand out.

Whatever the case, I'm fine with us not offering and him going to msu. He's a better fit for what you all like to do. I'm guessing you're essentially conceding johns?? I've read that he's expected to end up elsewhere other than msu

I think we're going to get nance and I'm not excited about it. He's massively overrated from what I've seen

It's not a concession of Johns. We still want another wing.

We have an open spot now at. Don't bring anyone in 2017 and are losing Bridges obviously next year.

    This is a 5 man 2018 class. Maybe 6 if it's the right 6.

We will add a true big. And probably another 3-4 hybrid guy like Kithier is (which johns would fit at)

Who do you all lead for according to your mods? Our seem to think we lead for nance and hunter Tyson, slight lead for johns, top 1-2 for Jerome hunter and iggy ignadskas (pretty sure I butchered this last name)

    For 2018

Consensus is Trevion William at center. And then either Brandon Johns or Joey Hauser.

Could take all 3 depending. Everyone says that Williams is ours if we want him (we do). And that we probably lead for Hauser, Johns could go 3 ways and they are all 3 equally likely imo (MSU, UM, out of state)

    Hameir wright is a wildcard.

    @BANGBRO

Is the fort already conceding the big 3 in state for 2019?

Rocket Watts, Romeo Weems (team USA), and Terry Armstrong?

I think Currie is a solid player and definitely in that 4th spot in state. From what I've heard he's a huge UM fan and fits your system well.

I've heard mixed reports on Brandon Johns. Some think he is an MSU lean, growing up in EL and attending dozens of MSU games. Others say he wants to get away from EL, and possibly out of state.

Mods seem to think watts is an msu lean. I've read that terry Armstrong would bea great fit in terms of his skill set, but has some maturity/ grades issues. I know that Weems was originally the big name, but mods on TOS have stated that he hasn't progressed as originally thought and may not be good enough for Michigan (or MSU).

He's been up and down for the past year, but I've read has really come on lately. Our mods indicate that it's more of a battle between us and Purdue right now with Indiana running third/ msu 4th. I'm sure your mods are telling you all something completely different lol

Would really like to get him, so hope this is true. Our mods are just saying that Purdue is in the thick of it.

Painter really needs to hit on some 2018 guys.

Watts is damn near an MSU lock if we go after him. Armstrong is uber talented, just needs to focus on off court stuff.

Also, MSU is in a really good spot for 2019 wing Brooks from Indiana. Brooks is a consensus 5 star I believe.

Good to see state of MI pumping out good talent. Crazy MSU could take 5 in state kids in 2018 and have them all be pretty much top targets.

Yup. Same here. Hearing we're in the mix and that UM was a serious contender. At the time MSU wasn't really involved. They've since gotten involved so I would expect he would seriously consider them.

Well, he grew up in East Lansing so MSU has been involved for a very long time... but I think both sides have sort of drifted apart from each other.

Who knows though. Some say we are the leader, others say we aren't even recruiting him anymore. He is pretty good, but definitely leans towards playing more on the wing than in the post.

Question: if he chooses Michigan, will the narrative be that he spurned an msu offer or that you stopped recruiting him? Just curious
