Let’s go back to 5 with 2016.

My ranking below and Candidates:

1 ACC
2 Big 12
3 Big 10
4 Big East
5 SEC / PaC / American / other Wcc

ACC: 2017 and 2019 banners with UNC and UVA is tough to beat. My default choice is the ACC hwre. Very Rough 2021 (2020 sadly didn’t happen ) but 2016-2019 hands down best best league in the tournament in the final four every year. Really been Deepest league every year except 2021.

Big 12: 4 of 5 last tournaments was in the final four back to OU 2016. All different teams. Tech played for it all 2019. KU would have won it 2020 (undisputed #1 team) and was the Baylor of 2021. Baylor hangs it 2021. #1 Conference RPI every year except 2021 with the Big 10.

Big East: if it wasn’t for Villanova, wouldn’t be in the list. 2021 the league was great with adding a rising uconn and the rise of georgetown again. But they really hinge on Nova winning 2 of the last 5 national titles. 2016 and 2018. Creighton has become an top 15-20 consistent program but hasn’t done much in the tourney. Really no one has out of the Big East lately except Nova.

Big 10: last but not least. It’s really been Michigan and Sparty carrying the torch in the tournament. Big 10 smoked the ACC in the challenge this year. Michigan was in the natty in 2018. Sparty in final four 2019. Excellent league and #1 RPI in 2021 and was the “regular season champ” but flaked terribly in tourney. Deep league with Buckeyes, illinois, Maryland, Iowa and Wisconsin all up there.

Wasn’t the Big 10/ACC challenge like 7-5?

I’d agree with that ranking

2018 3/8 elite 8 big 12
2017 3/8 ACC did it

2021 the Pac 12 did the same

Respect to the pac 12 this tourney

2018 Little brother’s miracle elite 8 only due to UVA losing to UMBC in the fluke of flukes. You did beat Kentucky tho. Kudos

Once again...

We see the issue with the B1G

The conference is in the Rust Belt. One of the worst areas of the country. Yet you have fans who think they are somehow better than others.
Just less uneducated. The SEC and Big 12 are full of states that prioritize religion over being accurately educated.

You are repeating something over and over that wasn't said..

You sound like an idiot, vulva.

Just letting you know.

You B1G homers usually do.
How many times do you have to be wrong before you revisit the image you have of yourself?

Is that what you are hanging onto...

Education.

Cannot win in sports so you think your conference is the Ivy League now.

University of Texas is better academically as well..

Not appreciating Jay’s remark, specifically on religion, but UT is better than...? Northwestern, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin are certainly usually considered better schools from what I’ve seen. I’d assume Penn State and Purdue, as well.

Look at the B1G homers...

Funny how Big Ten fans are acting like they aren't homers.

Your field of study matters in academics. There are numerous majors that the University of Texas is superior to every school in the Big Ten.

Academic Smack Talk doesn't work either.

Wisky? No way.

Nw and Michigan likely are

Texas is a
Top 10public school in country

Texas better than the other big 10 schools.

Big Ten homers...

Gave them the bait and they ran with it until facts proved otherwise.

When you are #1 in a field...

You are better than every school in this country.
Yale, Stanford, MIT, Cal Tech...

All season they were the biggest homers about their conference.

Told them I didn't see a Final 4 team they freaked out and kept bumping threads all year

Funny how they stopped bumping threads in March😂

Wisconsin is tied with UT in the latest USNW rankings, with Illinois one spot behind. Illinois and Wisconsin regularly flip flop, with UI finishing ahead in many recent years. “No way”? Illinois and Wisconsin are at worst equals of Texas. Ohio State, Purdue and Maryland are just behind, and that is where the Big Ten is stronger. Pretty big drop off from the top in the Big XII with a very poorly ranked lower tier.

😂

More conference chest thumping.

Texas stands on their own two feet.

Doesn't need a conference to give them anything.
They have billions of dollars from oil money.
