I would feel optimistic if that was our bracket.
Ohio State/South Dakota State in a 5/12 matchup just like last year.
Left side of the bracket looks much stronger. Virginia's bracket looks incredibly tough (Virginia, Michigan, Texas, Nova, Texas Tech, Purdue, LSU).
I'll give you one seed that is most likely to make it to the Final Four based off of the current bracket:
1- Kansas
2- Michigan
3- Tennessee
4- Florida State
5- Texas Tech
6- Nebraska
7- Syracuse
8- Iowa
9- Marquette
10- Iowa State

I get the Duke game was bad, but damn, a four for UK? Tons of opportunities to prove ourselves. Kansas, UNC, Tennessee, Auburn, and I'll even throw @ Louisville and Seton Hall in there. We aren't a top team right now, but the potential to turn it around and be a damn good team are still there.
well UK is ranked 18 on kenpom which would be a 4 seed. I'm not 100% sure that's what they're using but it looks close.
Florida State would be a good game, but .. would they put MSU in same bracket with a primetime game already btwn the #1 and #2?

I don’t know. I think FSU would be a heck of a Sweet 16 game for KU and then Michigan 36 hours later? That’s tough.
Same bracket as Michigan State, not Michigan. I agree that would be a brutal back-to-back stretch. But MSU seems much more beatable than Michigan at this point.
Ohhh. You were listing one team from each seed that has the best FF chance. I see now. I thought you meant Kansas was the one seed with the best chance of making it, based on that bracket. Sorry, misread it.
Kentucky and UNC our west as the 3 and 4 seeds. This wouldn’t surprise me at all.
With 2 mid majors most likely getting the top 2 seeds out west, the committee will likely put the best 3-4 seeds out west that also have big fan bases.

You think Nevada can get a 2 seed with that trash schedule? I see them more as a 4.
I do. They have a poor schedule and it really bums me out that they did not schedule a better OOC. But they certainly pass the eye test. This team is filled with grown men on their roster.
Didn’t Wichita State get a 9 seed one year despite being undefeated, because of a trash schedule? The NCAA doesn’t take kindly to teams that don’t challenge themselves OOC.
A lot of UK fans thought Witcha St was robbed by that seeding. With their season, there's no reason they should have drew that UK team in the second round.
For the record, we don't just pay attention to our miscalculated seeding.
Exactly, no way Wichita St, should have had the eventual runner up as the 8 seed in their bracket. We took their #1 seed path in the second round.
UK was way underseeded and they f^cked them more than us.
IIRC, you guys had a really good team that year.

That was their path, but turned out great. Looking back it's probably one of the best favors the committee has done for UK. Besides last year of course, we f'n blew that. sigh

Bother you? I'm sure it does, but the bigger lesson for you is how dumb you look when you keep punching up at better teams/programs than U6.
