With a return to college likely I wonder if we see a surprise firing or 2 this offseason by someone who didn’t necessarily have a terrible year but thinks they have a legit shot to hire him

Never understood why he left Michigan. The dude is old and had a good thing going. Even his mediocre seasons were applauded.
Nothing is ever said until it's already done...why is a return to college likely? Has beilein come out and said this or is it pure conjecture?

I knew it was an idiot move from the word go.
Bet he lands at Texas.
Dude never should’ve left Michigan. I knew it was a mistake.

Beilein would be an excellent first assistant on an NBA team. Great hoops mind that is not in charge of all the egos an NBA team has. (and make no mistake, the players run the NBA) As a head coach on the pro level....I never saw him as the right fit for that. College is his best place to be a head coach IMO.
Why didn’t you tell him?
Yeah, he needs to just retire. Sounds like his tenure at Cleveland has really stressed him out. No need to keel over just because of basketball.agreed...I’m just saying the dude is 67 and I think feeling a bit washed. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him hang it up either
He should've called Pitino first. It's alllll downhill from here.Dude never should’ve left Michigan. I knew it was a mistake.
I don't know why this guy is so shocked. They suck ass and Texas is a football school.
At what point is that? It could be an hour before tipoff for all we know.

Pretty sure he has never been anything but a HC so doubt he was gonna go the assistant route.Beilein would be an excellent first assistant on an NBA team. not really...Whole world did.
But as we know if it's in a report, even with no factual basis, it's true if it supports someone's narrative.Andre Drummond said that report was b/s
