The pick here is Iowa State. Even though Baylor beat Iowa State the first time, there's something about that Hilton Magic that Baylor has never figured out. Should be competitive between two good teams. Last time they played ISU got off to a really slow start and fought back into it. They have the shooters to beat the zone and win at home, but I'm hoping for a good game regardless.

A nice game tonight between what some say are 2 darkhorses to make a run in the tourney.

I think this season's Baylor team is more dangerous than last season. Should be a fun game tonight.

Baylor has never won in Hilton. I don't think that will change tonight, there's no way ISU gets off to as bad of a start as in Waco. Should still be a competitive game though, Baylor is good this year.

Bump. Any predictions on the game? I'm thinking ISU 81-74

I think ISU wins and does so in a close one. However I'm not saying ISU's a lock tonight because for some reason, Scott Drew somehow has his Baylor teams playing their best basketball of the year at this point in the season. The Hilton Magic is an absolute bitch to contend with.

Damn good game so far for both teams. Matt Thomas is picking the best of times to breakout. What an added threat Thomas makes going forward for ISU.

Wow, did not see that coming. Baylor shot 14-26 from 3, ISU shot 6-22. Big props to Baylor and Scott Drew

Wow! Down 8 to up six in the blink of an eye. Did that just happen? How about Scott frees coaching. He managed this game perfectly. Came out of the zone when needed. Changed lineups when needed. Kept the game close with his timeouts. Hats off to a great coached game.

Those 5 straight 3s were insane. Don't see that very often. Thank you Baylor for giving us a full game lead again. Hold serve at home and beat OU in Norman (I don't like our chances) and we got #11 outright.

38% from three in league play, right there with ISU. Definitely their best offensive weapon, though I didn't expect it to work out that well in Hilton. Chery and Prince are a couple of ballsy shooters.

Need to regroup in a hurry because KSU is looking to be spoilers for everyone in their last few games.

Baylor - another team I've been sleeping on.

Interesting team. Flying under the radar.

The good news is that Iowa State still has some timeouts in their back pocket! lol

GREAT win by Baylor, and the worst 8 minutes of ISU Basketball to end a game I have seen in a long, long time.

    :)

Yeah that's the thing, usually those numbers don't travel. Prior to this game Baylor had shot 45% from 3 at home and 32% on the road in conference play. Didn't expect Baylor to be so hot (although plenty were open enough) and ISU to be so cold in Hilton.

Those 5 straight 3s were devastating. Anyone else notice that Drew had used up all of his TOs with 8:07 left. In that last 8:07 Baylor outscored them 22-8.

Drew burned a timeout every time ISU got like a 4 point lead. And it worked, always stemmed the tide. Drew coached an excellent game last night - in line with the whole season.

Scott drew should be heavily considered for COY. He has this Baylor team playing tough. Man the big 12 is brutal this year. Whoever ends up winning will have earned it. Regardless of who the best team is.

Drew's lost too many games at Hilton to know that you let them get a big lead at home it's over. It turned out to be genius the way he used the timeouts.

He's quietly grown into a pretty good coach. I know he's generated a lot of hate, but I think over time he's really improved quite a bit. Definitely a COTY candidate, but we have another tough one on Saturday against WVU, so we'll see how we finish up. Good game by the Clones, but the perimeter defense did them in last night.
