Man these guys are looking sweet since beating Kansas.

Does the Committee have to take a Pac 12 team this year? This league is legit worse than the Atlantic 10. And Murray State would be the best team in the Pac 12.

Yes, just like every other s@$#y conference.

Well that was nice of Arizona State to help Stanford get their first conference win.

Gonna be nice for them to take a shitty P5 team instead of a really good lower level team that lost in the conference tournament on a buzzer beater after winning their conference by 5 games.

Arizona State since beating Kansas has gone 2-3 with losses to Princeton, Utah, and Stanford.

Iowa State since beating Kansas has gone 0-2 with losses to Baylor and K-state.

Always funny to see the teams blow their loads against KU and then go on ridiculously bad runs following their win. I'm sure other blue bloods see that happen all the time as well.

We do. But to be fair, Kansas didn't play well in those games.

At least for Kansas it’s nice that Iowa State is crapping the bed with conference losses

Fun game last night. Probably the best game of the evening, actually. I like how Arizona State made 8 consecutive shots near the end of the game. Justin Coleman ties the game with a 3-pointer at 83 a piece... ASU can now get the last shot, and remember they're on fire - they had been carving out Arizona's defense, play by play. Gotta go with the bread & butter, of course, a step-back three with a man in your face! Wasn't even close.... At least they won in overtime, but it still annoys me when teams waste 20 seconds in a tie ball-game and then take a contested 3-pointer. Why would you take a 20% shot??? I see this all the freaking time. If you're tied, take a higher percentage shot - and don't wait til 3 seconds to start your play!

I watch for Walton. Plus, I put a fair number of units on ASU -5.5.

Lol uofa's worst team in 4 decades just took asu's best team in 25 years to OT in tempe. Without their best player. Soooooo...im good with it lolol. Can next year get here already?!

Im not a fan of Hurley due to his Duke days, but I gotta admit, but Buffalo and ASU have been fun to watch under his leadership.

What happened down the stretch last year? I know we played them early and I believe they were ranked, but seems like they didnt finish out as strong?

Pac 12 basketball is like their football in that it's fun, but if youre half hammered late on the weekends youre glad its on, something to crash too. Eventually it will cycle back around theoretically, but right now not a great look for the conference overall.

Arizona State is like a weaker version of Syracuse. By that, I mean they're one of those teams capable of beating a top-10 team or two, but also capable to losing to a sub-100 team. ASU lost a lot of games last year that they should have won... And they've done so again this year, too (Vandy, Princeton, Utah, Stanford).

ASU's best team in 25 years? Try again. Last year's team was better at this point of the season.

So was 2014 and 2015. Especially 2009 when ASU swept Arizona.

Speaking of that 2009 Arizona team. That team was worse than your current team. 14 losses, 3 losses to ASU. I'm guessing you're a young fan that hasn't been watching basketball for 25 years, and nowhere near four decades.

Lol Ive been an Arizona fan since 1983 dude, actually attended school in Tucson and know every team even since before '83. This is the worst team during that time...at least '09 had two legitimate NBA guys on it. This team...sucks. Its been gutted and is garbage. Considering ASU in '09 shot the threeball well with Cuck-suck on their squad, its not surprising the Cats lost. This is ASUs best squad I have seen in a long time.

Should be interesting when you have no team or players and a new coach or no coach after the NCAA gets done with you. Oh, and the FBI.

Funny story. Kind of like when Derrick Williams ended Kyrie Irvings Duke career? Seems an apples to apples comparison. Should be interesting when K finally retires and Wojo comes on board, slapping the floor with a bunch of dorks again.

As will have a new coach before Duke. And losing a game is apples and oranges compared to what Miller and AZ has done.

Hilarious "head in the sand" guy. Zions asking for everything from everyone, but decided to last minute go to Duke...lemme guess, for 3 months of Duke education and K's "tutelage." I wonder how his parents enjoy their new home in Durham? Go away.

Deflection. Duke doesn’t need to do what AZ does. Do you really think Duke or K would be that obvious about breaking the rules. You are an idiot if you think that.

Let it gooooo, let it go!!! (In my best Frozen voice).

Dude, Jeff Capel was on your bench recruiting. Grow up. Let me guess - you dont think 'Bama needs to do anything to get football players, either. Hell, Reggie Bush needed a new house to play football at US-freaking-C when they won like 5 natties in a row. Its all the same...dont be naive.

Arizona was very, very average in Sean Miller's first year. They had young talent, but they were garbage in 2010... But that 83 UA team has to take the cake. I mean, 4 wins on the season? Also, this is not ASU's best team from the past 25 years. Probably either the '95 or '09 team.

Yes. Jeff Capel was on our bench. Your point. You seem to like to throw around wishes and rumors. Please provide a link where Duke has been investigated or accused of what AZ is going through right now. Because you want it to be true, doesn't make it true.

When you get something solid, please provide the information.

You mean after Miller is fired.

Lol yeah they were average but still had NBA guys on the roster. This team...doesnt. BTW the 83-84 AZ team had two legit NBA guys on the team. And 95 ASU still finished third in conference.

Just because one of Arizonas assistants is not smart doesnt make Sean Miller any more guilty. Unless you want to play that game and Jeff Capel makes K guilty...see?

Now Kentucky fan is chiming in after their coach has had wins vacated in his two previous coaching stops. Are people serious?
Cal has 0 NCAA violations and has never had an assistant coach convicted by the FBI of fraud and paying players.

What has Capel been charged with by the FBI or the NCAA while at Duke?

You do know they have Miller on a recording right?

It's so incredible that guys like Anthony Davis and John Wall will play for Cal for free, while the going rate for a Brian Bowen is 100k. God, Cal is amazing. Praise be to Cal.

Um, no. I specifically said the 83 team. You know, the team that went 4-24. This team didn't have Steve Kerr or Pete Williams. And I don't know why having NBA players makes a difference anyway on differentiating between the worst seasons in a program's recent history? Duke had 2 lottery picks on the 95 team and I can at least acknowledge that was a very sub-par team for Duke standards (2-14 in the ACC).

Lol ever heard the saying "a leopard cant change its spots?" Im sure going from full blown violator to choir boy under K seamlessly happened. He was just a better bag man.

And they do? Did I miss that? When did anyone hear that and what did it say? Mustve missed it.

I was a fan when Lute Olson went there. Hence, fall of '83. Semantics, friend. And this Arizona team has no quality talent. At least with Kerr and Williams they had some talent.

Isnt it?! Or Zion is all over every FBI probe...but went to Duke because he cant wait to get back to Durham to finish his degree in 25 years?! I bet thats it.

You should worry about the PAC 12 and not Duke. You wont be playing them anytime soon.

And again, when Duke has an asst charged by the FBI and cops a plea let us know. Until then it is just your speculation and wishing.

From the news report I found.
"Capel was not implicated in the violations. He was fired in March"

An assistant was found guilty. What did you say about assistants and the HC earlier?

Miller - surprised you haven't seen this. It was in all the funny papers.
