I’ll never root for some of those ****ers. I don’t mind seeing Miami do well but I hope the rest all lose in the first round. If UVA is the only ACC team that makes it to the second round, I’ll consider it a rousing success.
Don’t give a single sh$t this time of year. It’s one against the other 63. Conference honking is null and void once it stops being a factor for seeding. And the only ones that care are the buns outside of the top 16 seeds. You hope other teams do the work for you.

Best conference during 30ish game regular season helps with selection and seeding. Performance in a single elimination tournament says very little about quality of the conference. Unless your conference hasn’t won a title since 2000. Then that conference is just trash.

Seems the best conference in the reg.season would, well, do the best in the NCAAT. Or maybe that is just for shits and giggles---and good arguments?....I mean if Kansas wins the natty, we will here---"Playing in the best conference.........."---But if they dont, or Texas----or if the B12 stinks it up(NCAAT), we will undoubtedly here how overrrated the conference was...

I mean, you B1G fans are a special breed. Not sure it's a "we" thing though. The only time I chime in on conference talk is to point out how overrated the B1G is year after year after year. Yet every year we hear about how tough it is playing against B1G teams. I don't give a shit about the first ACC team outside of Duke.
You guys just cling onto that narrative, though … no one is saying how good the Big Ten is, and there’s ZERO argument it’s “overrated,” lmao. Literally two top 4-seeds. It’s pretty properly rated and was last year, as well (zero top 2 seeds and correspondingly zero Elite Eight teams).
Honestly not sure why the “Big Ten is overrated” meme won’t die already, our fans don’t even talk about our conference being especially good. I guess the Pac-12 is “overrated”? No title since 1997, and that honestly seems like the only coherent talking point for the Big Ten being “overrated” anymore.
If my conference is playing Kentucky then I am, I don’t give a shit otherwise.

He’s a former assistant coach and a great guy. I root against him when they play Purdue and for him otherwise. I’m hoping he takes the Georgetown job so we don’t have to play them anymore.
I’m not out here wearing Duke sweaters to the bar, but yeah I’d rather see ACC schools win than lose because it means more money for FSU.
